If you don't want to wait you can already use W10m by signing to Insider preview program and then getting the app, but keep in mind that's a beta version of W10m.

I was thinking the best should be reserved for your own brand, however in the case of MS, he has all of their base customers, awaiting for a delayed-more-than-twice upgrade.
MS has literally lost some love for the brand and series of Lumias bought by itself
