A product is judged by what it provides against its PRESENT COMPETITION.

Just keep waiting then..... Mi4 was launched in India 6 months after China release, I fear that will be the case again. Snapdragon 820 will be limited in availability in the first few months so I seriously doubt Xiaomi will have enough surplus stock for launching it anywhere outside China.
Better yet, why not wait for Xiaomi Mi6..... it will have Snapdragon 830 and 6GB RAM. Mi5 is a dud compared to that.... why waste your money?

You might have chosen Lenovo over Xiaomi,that is your choice but upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 is better in specs as compared to vibe X3 ...why don't you compare the specs?The screen size of vibe x3 is bigger than mi 5 but the ppi is low so the display will be inferior...There are other factors also...so if you are spending around 20000 bucks for the upcoming device...why dont you spend a little more for much better Xiaomi Mi 5???

Indian markets are fast growing market. Xiaomi launch a product and availability in the market will be two months later then there will be a flash sale so why people will wait.

.I think they would start selling the phone in India simultaneously with China because India is such a huge market for them and moreover Xiaomi is not a dumb company like Lenovo

I agree it is ... morethe 5x would be a great choice, but if you look carefully you will find that is has been really scaled down by google just to avoid it from outselling the nexus 6p. Plus i hate the fact that google is selling their products way cheaper in the states that other countries especially given the fact that their current vp is Indian. thats a low blow to India. Lenovo on the other hand is selling the vibe x3 cheapest in India than any other place. kudos to lenovo

Agreed with you...that when the phone was initially launched maybe snapdragon 820 wasn't available...then why the company released their flagship in India so late when the better hardware is already available?
Guys lets wait for Xiaomi Mi 5 rather than playing dice on an outdated chip

Lenovo Malaysia selling ($455) RM1899 at Lazada is way overpriced than this pricing $293(RM1221). 1 USD = RM 4.17 (accordin to google).
