I would say Rs. 40000 - 45000 will be justified price for this phone, it's android phone added with Blackberry security, keyboard - not huge fan of keyboard but this keyboard is work as touch/track pad which is awesome, overall very solid phone.

i have been using Blackberry from the past 8 years and iam sure i will never buy a Blackberry Priv which is priced at 63000(920$). Blackberry lost one of its loyal customers. According to the so called Managing Director of Blackberry "They want to capture just 5% of the market or loyal customers"Looks like they wont even be able to capture even 1% of the smartphone market with such a huge price.

The only thing that comes to mind on reading the pricetag is "LOL!".... If you are a company in the doldrums hoping to get back in the game, you would naturally target that portion of the market which has the most buyers (mid-range)....BB it seems hasn't heard of a concept called " Commonsense "...its not surprising to see where they are right now if they keep coming up with such hair-brained ideas.

And people say that Apple rip off its customers.
Who is gonna buy a mid-range phone with overall plastic came from a damaged brand?

Just wait few weeks and get S7 or G5, which are gonna be cheaper and million time better

WOW .......i was eagerly waiting for the pricing ........thats not at all a bad price guys........i mean a brand like blackberry deserves to be the best and premium.........this phone was supposed to be the resuscitation for BB..if thats what supposed to be called ....after years of isolation when they came out which could seal the fate for the company ........this is what they have come up with .......not just pricing but overall SHIT sale tactics ......this would be the final nail in the coffin..........best suggestion would be to try a flash sale and check the repsonse to bring BB in its senses...........GOOD luck fellas !!!!

Not a great plan. Blackberry could have not launched it in India and still saved the bucks of transferring the goods here. I understand the device itself is reliable and durable but 62k is lot for middle and upper middle class could afford. Anyway this phone isn't for people in that class bracket. I bet rich people like "businessman tier" will get it, if they feel something more than just an iPhone. But this is not for a general Indian market. Blackberry won't be profiting from this, it's going to be another loss if they're expecting to gain from here.

Expected BlackBerry to be sensible this time around but again idiotic pricing. It will fail bigtime again in India. I see it trading for 30k INR in 6 months just like its previous phones. Only if it was available for 30k at launch it could have been a Hit.
