ohhh noooo!!!!! im feeling break down with htc, what the hell is wrong with front speakers wich i most loved from htc????
HTC M10 12MP ultra pixel camera OIS with laser focus, oh my heaven HTC , ultra pixels are back but no boom sound :( but rest of the specs are just awesome please HTC bring back boom sound front firing speakers, No phone can match its audio quality
No boom sound = no sales
regs, 28 Jan 2016That doesn't mean that 3-4 persons on the planet shouldn't be able to use a phone one-hand jus... moreThere is a huge difference. Any above 5.2 is too large. Heck. My iPhone 6 with 4.7 is not comfortable for me when I want to use 1 hand because of the lack of buttons at the bottom. So I opted to use a galaxy s6 edge. Though I wish I got the normal one
Sigh. One step forward, one step back.
It's great that they're bringing back OIS. But getting rid of the stereo speakers is getting rid of the stand out feature of the phone, which HTC pioneered.
I guess everyone just wants an iPhone clone these days.
my suggest for htc, if you want products sold in the market
1. Remove the bezel n logo in front
2. Design, make new design, no metal again, better than s6 n z5, tell ur designer, make it elegant n amazing
3. Conector type c
4. 2 size, 5" n 5.5"
5. Boom sound
6. Amoled!!!, i think super lcd is enough
7. Battery 3500mah
8. New UP, hopefully not disappoint
9. The price
10. After sales
Other Spec its ok for me
I wish it was LCD, as Sammy may not give them the most efficient AMOLED panels. Otherwise, this phone looks sweet! So many choices!
We shouldn't be jumping to conclusions - the final product hasn't even been released yet.
Specs are very similar to S7. I bet they will "finalized" it with max 2800mAh battery and I will go mad out of HTC.
HTC offers timely software updates. A very big selling point and a great advantage over any Samsung phone.
Shazzy B, 29 Jan 2016Well, HTC's gone off the deep end if they're removing the BoomSound speakers from their next f... moreNO, you are wrong. Just Samsung´s last devices own´s Amoled with enough of brightness. Other brands use semi-bright Amoleds something around 370 nits. :(( Probably Samsung sells just old types of Amoled.
Please HTC, don't remove boom sound speakers
Carmanen, 28 Jan 2016I couldn't agree more with your opinion! What the hell is HTC thinking? Audio over performance... moreIt seems you have never heard about emulators like PPSSPP, DosBox. They require high CPU performance.
To be honest, there's nothing like HTC Front speaker and if they decided to remove it.. Well.. It's no better than Samsung. Sorry HTC, you are doing it wrong. Your phone sales is the proof.
Removing the boomsound speakers is a big fail..
I am quite surprised that HTC restrained itself on the screen size front and kept the diagonal at a manageable 5.1", as opposed to LG which didn't have a normal-sized flagship for two years now. This is a plus for HTC.
However, generally I expect another blatant iPhone 6 copycat with a very small battery, probably 2500-2700 mAh. Buying an expensive phone in 2016 with less than 3500 mAh battery would be a waste of money.
I have to admit that 12MP ultrapixels are realy good choice...fingerprint scanner is good thing, but the could've put it on the side of the phone therefore preserving the boomsound speakers... about the boomsound speakers I have to admit that removing something so good and deistinctive from the phone is complete stupidity...they culd've combined new audio system from A9 with the speakers....if they really removed the speakers I have to admit they've disapointed me a lot...this leaves sony Z series as the only smartphone with the front facing speakers therfore taking over a huge part of the pie in the market away from HTC...I have to admit they lost a lot of fans with that decision....
Can't wait to get this phone. Just add a separate numbers row on touch screen key pad.....
The front and back have ois witch is good than note I think.same like saygus v2 have ois front.well the speaker is OK but if wanna a good speaker go buy a blutooth one
5.1 inch smartphone screen too small for most users.
