You'd need more than one spare to carry so in total again you carry more, it's impractical. what I meant is a capacity around 2500 mah instead of sth ridiculous like 5000mah which is twice as big and not practical for charging/carrying a spare...
For example my alpha has 1860 mah. On low intensity days I don't even need to swap. In high intensity days I need to swap once around 6PM and then there is still some left by the end of the day. My Redmi Note (a phablet) has 3000 mah, etc ... I wouldn't want/need bigger batteries they just add bulk.
Right. Let's make phones with 1000mAh battery, they will be small and easy to carry on your pocket. You can easily carry 2/3 with you. Then change it mutiple times in the day. Sounds fun..

Take that Samsung.
And what's when we forgot to charge the spare battery...?
Your phone needs to be charged for 2 & half hours because LG don't provide fast charger in the box...& spare battery also needs to be charged for more than 2 & half hrs...!

When i travel, the gps function drains my battery very quickly so i have a spare one... I am a huge user of google maps.
.... Or LG is saying that only its crazy high priced v10 line will have the user-removable battery feature. I may make my purchase decision at mwc as i want to buy within weeks, i hope LG will be ready by then.
Will gsmarena review the MWC afterwards and pick its best smartphone announcement ?

But have you ever seen how absolutely small spare batteries are? I always carry one in my wallet and it never shows. It's silly NOT to carry a spare given how small they are, you are never afraid to get out of juice.
I disagree about big batteries, they make the phone heavier, take an age to get recharged and can't carry them as spares because of how absolutely big/heavy they are. Give me a small removable battery (that can fit everywhere) any day. Keeps the phone fit, easy to carry , easy to charge, cheap to replace (even genuine ones are cheap when they are of low capacity).

Take that LG! (Intended for LG Pay)

Now it's time for Samsung to watch it's previous ads mocking on other companies and learn from it's own lessons:

Hope not only to keep the removable battery but also to improve the battery endurance. At least 80h.
Yes, poke fun at somebody who defined about removable battery and has had 90+% phones with removable battery, sheer class, as ever, LG.

you don't have to carry extra battery or that big power bank if you dont want to.
but you have more option if you want to.
For me extra battery is important (i dont like powerbank and i dont use my phone while charging it with power bank).
if you are an active user, gamer, or if you travel around the world, where you have to turn on GPS, google maps, taking photo and videos all the time while traveling, no mater how big battery capacity you have it will not enough,
the removable battery will come as life safer for that time.
go LG go!!!
give sammy the jab, right-left combination would be good.
hit him hard.
that the price for f**king company apple wannabe
who taking away my removable battery.

Nice one LG. Owned!
Lg plz stop it...and actually try to make a good phone with a good UI
Actually having a bigger capacity battery that can last longer is more important than making it removable for me
i'll never be walking around with an extra battery or a power bank as i saw freaks do these days
One of the biggest advantages of the removable battery is that you can replace the battery to a 2x or 3x higher capacity battery. (For example ZeroLemon is going to release a 9000mAh battery for LG V10. They also made 3x bigger batteries for older Samsung devices that had removable battery.)
Inspite of LG selling less phones than Samsung and making less profit than Samsung, LG still likes poking fun at Samsung.
I will never buy a LG Phone. Never..
