Other ... moremy galaxy s5 international version is still laggy lollipop.it lags in places like opening the recent apps menu,multitasking lags real bad sometimes,music player stops working frequently,irregular battery drains in standby(sometimes like 15% for 8 hours of standby sometimes a brilliant 7% in 8 hours).its still on laggy 5.0 not even 5.0.2 and its unlocked.some of its carrier locked versions are on 5.1.1.I seriously doubt Samsung's commitment to its costumer and their highly questionable and slow update cycle.

Android is made and optimized for Nexus line and hardware. Other manufacturers have to rework source code for their own hardware, meaning getting all their drivers right without crash or depleting battery because ram is faster, most of chips are different, resolution and density are different etc..
Most of people remember that OEM lollipop race last year with buggy G3 and S5 updates for almost 3 months (LG didn't fix lollipop btw).
So this goes far deeper than "adding bloatware" but we can't expect more from many here.

Slow updates because OEMs have to add their crap and bloatware to the update to help slow your phone down and increase lag. That way, you'll be forced to buy a new phone. Lol.
