Those power issues are actually Windows 10's newest feature to allow Microsoft to collect more data and spy on your computer. That's why you should never install Windows 10 or downgrade if you can.

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2016He's not talking 'bout the Lumia thoughReally? Here's what he/she said: "If Intel could actually compete in per watt metrics, Microsoft would be able to compete in phones and tablets"

He mentioned phones. What phones do Microsoft make? Or are you referring to the Kin? Even then, the Kin uses nVidia Tegra, not intel.

Um, why the negative slant against the surface book in this article? By definition, all people buying it think its feature set is enough to justify the 'eye watering pricetag', so why say only "some"? Or when the articles assumes that 'many' are not happy with it, because they did some kind of quick search on some forums?! Come on, go on any product forum and there will be complaints. Also on those very forums are people saying they love theirs. So why bias the article making it seem like everyone's upset? I personally got the Book, and love it. Yes it has some growing pains, but it's a first gen device, and the features it has out weights the glitches. Plus from what I see, my issues are all software based, meaning it's all fixable. Hardware faults and limitations, like not having a touchscreen, are not fixable. That's my 2¢.

Interesting. Could this explain why Apple has not updated their lineup with Skylake? Usually Apple gets new intel chips earlier than other PC OEMs.

If Intel could actually compete in per watt metrics, Microsoft would be able to compete in phones and tablets (I.e. 1lbrs devices). So even indirectly it's Intel's fault that a lost of MS products suck.
