I'd rather have a restricted device that could give me excellent user experience, than a feature cramped device that's frustrating to use and behaves erratically.

dont forget that apple when it released the iphone it made a revolution in the touch screen world and all the companies started makeing touch phones

Maemo flows like water and has the most powerfull push homescreen in the world, you don't even need widgets or go into apps to check stuff, everything gets automatically pushed to the mainscreens open apps.
You get uppdated all the time about everything, it's just amazing how the made it so damn quick and powerfull.
N900 eats up like everything you throw at it, i have yet to try something the N900 could't handle.
I actually don't use my laptop anymore when i leave my house.
Symbian needs to die or be more like Maemo.
Any news on future Maemo handsets?

[deleted post]I'm sure jailbroken iphones can. But in my personal case, I really don't need support for all of those media formats, and a lot of people obviously don't.
And you didn't really answer my question. Instead, you just gave me a list of websites making it look like a lot of things, when actually it can be summed up simply as internet access :)
