there are BETTER devices to buy.
even when the iphone 4 gets out, ( i must admit that that one will finally be a decent product and mostly up to date )..there will be other manufacturer's new flagships. EVO 4G beats the new iphone even now.
SE will came out with some entertainment unlimited beast and a psp phone.
even xperia x10 after the update will be better than iphone 4.
nokia n8 should be, too.
not to mention the upcoming nokia n900's sucessor.
and new samsung galaxy series and lg apollo.

The N97 with Symbian is totally useless piece of nonsense but the N900 with Maemo 5 is probably the finest piece of hendhelt technology i have ever used. It's hard go grasp that the same company made both phones, it's heaven and earth difference.
N900 is as close as you can get to a laptop without being a actual laptop. I read that Nokia N8 design upsets Nokia N-series fans casue of the lack of keyboard. Nokia fans likes their keyboards.
I kinda agree cause a onscreen keyboard in the most irritating thing in the world. When i write mail, sms, webbrows i don't want the whole freaking screen to disapear and be replaced by a square bubble, you want to see how it pans directly on webpages, mails, etc..
I still can't believe Nokia made both N97 and N900. N97 is like a rotten potato and N900 is like The Matrix.
Symbian touch should be put to bed and Maemo 5 should be Nokias main OS, anythings else is just pure nonsense. Symbian^3 might be differentm i don't know, but i doubt it.
I will probably skip Nokia N8 casue of Symbian and wait for next Maemo device. Maemo by the way i think is technological masterpiece.

If that is the truth, then I will sell my iphone and buy a maemo5 device today. But answer me this first. With my iphone, I can be at work and record my favorite tv shows to my DirecTv dvr at home via my iphone app. How can a maemo5 device do that w/out a 3rd party app? I will be waiting for your reply so I can make a decision to switch to maemo5 :)

Who cares who's the first to do what? When you go shopping, do you ask yourself who made this and that first before buying a product? Lol.
And what's your point in bringing up some features of your nokia device that edges out the iphone? Those features may mean nothing to a lot of users. And please stop imposing that the iphone copied its design from Nokia because I'm sure it makes a lot of readers' sick.
Now you're bringing up your n920 design (whatever that is). Is that your segue to say that Apple copied that design for their ipad? Lol.

If you did know nokia is still the first to do alot
The n800 can carry up to 64gb of storage since it uses SD cards instead of micro SD
And maemo was pulling 800x480 since 2007 lol
And now the 4th gen iphone looks like a nokia device the n810
I bet nokia had that design from before as the n920 for their new keyboardless tablet

It's funny that everyones perception of an iphone owner is one that thinks their phone is the best in the world, in fact, NO, ONLY the Fanbois think this.
We know of what the iphone lacks, we don't need some sad loser telling us this, with links and lines of bulletin text. They completely FAIL to grasp the fact that the iphone carries with it, a great user experience. Easy to use, Loads of Apps, and the best support bar none, BAR NONE of ANY phone out there.
But you keep crying about how Steve Jobs "steals" technology, and we'll continue to enjoy the iphone regardless of what you nonentities think.

NvS, 08 May 2010Whatever you said,no matter how you bluffed about your precious symbian,and no matter how hars... moreI can't by an iphone lol wu must be joking i own the n900 full price you 299 on a 3 year contract i could have got 3 iphones or 5 for that matter since it's 99$ for the 3g lol but why would i do that the thing sucks anyways my n900 is doing alot of things to 3gs can't do plus i overclocked mine to 800mhz and i still have my 48gb there i might not have a 100000 but why would i wanna choose from 20 different twitter apps or facebook apps when i can check the web in full html with flash
I use a full linux OS what do you use
A pick an choose coded OS of a desktop OS
It still makes me laugh how they had excuses for why the 2g and 3g can't record video and sound and everyother phone on the planet can

1. Put all the phones in the world into a very big bag and pick one at random.
- 1 in every 2 phones is gonna be a Nokia
- 1 in every 6 phones is gonna be an Iphone
2. Put all the smartphones in the world into a very big bag and pick one at random.
- 1 in 3 phones in gonna be a Symbian
- To get an Apple you will have to be very very lucky (Oops did I say lucky, I meant unlucky)
