(Excuse my poor English please) Having exactly the same issue. I one-click Power Button, and it can just wake my Nexus 5, or open the cam, or show the power off menu. And i got random restarts and power offs. Any fix to this?

It helps if you quickly press the power button, the long press makes it more likely to get the camera and reset. Came here to find out if I was the only one.

There was new feature added in nexus 5 where you can launch camera by pressing power button twice. You will find an option to turn it off in settings->display. As for shutting down automatically, its all due to faulty power button and not software update.

I am using LG Nexus 5 and post updating the Andriod Marshmallow version, I am facing terrible problems even to turn the device on. It jumps to camera mode on turning on and within next 5 seconds shuts down. This has been a consistent problem for more than a month now. Moreover, the charging too is very very slow. 5% charging in 2 hrs (with original charger and active port).

Trooper, 03 Feb 2016But those are just the ones that have been reported and fixed. Thank you, for your time. You are aware that Google will pay you for any security bug you can find in their code, right?
Even if you don't like getting paid, I'm pretty sure there are many others with quite some skill that DO like getting paid and DO report security flaws.

So spill it out rather than being a poser.

Get rid of that damn slow, buggy, security hole POS JVM, and I'm sure security would not be so much of an issue on Android. It would even speed the system up. So it's a win win in my book.

And nobody cares.
Still wondering why lawyers have not sued the Android OEMs for intentionally allowing their devices to be vulnerable.

These monthly updates should roll out quicker, cause if it takes 3 weeks to receive it then you are left nearly a whole month without the new security fixes. It makes no sense. By the time you finally get the update the next one starts to roll out and so on.
