i reckon that if you have 2 touch displays and a 3D Screen your are going to have to have one big and powerfull battery to run it all.

adis, 11 May 2010I can't think of a reason why would I want a 3D display phone. Its just useless on a small screen. It could have practical benefits one day, medical or similar is just one area I think of, but NO twin lens camera's onboard it seems. So I guess you are right at this time, it seems pointless without the apps and just a toy

Reminds me of the first 3g phone I owned on the three network in the UK, bulky. I do like moto', but cannot help but feel as with the first 3g phone (it was a brick!!!), this may be upstaged, as I believe it already is. I do LIKE the idea of capacitive and resistive technologies used in tandem, capacitive is great for sensitivity, but you just NEED a stylus for some functions, or better still a numeric keypad. Tired of TRYING to play games or using apps that just do not work well on touch phones minus a stylus. Love seeing the moto logo's again, not had a moto for YEARS!

Anonymous, 10 May 2010Resistiv screens are so 2000 and late. Why not overall only a capacitive one? Kind of stupid... moreYa know, some ppl actually like to use stylus or even gloves, winter or whatever the reason, ya know...

Try removing them in a winter day:

"OMEEGAWDZ, I got a call! OH NOES, need to press my capacitive buttons!!
Oh wait, lemme remove mah glove..." *shivers* *frostbite*

ps- oh yeah, I know you can use a capacitive stylus, just had to joke about it. extra dramatic example just for the lolz. :P

cant see a need for this feature. But the better the tech gets, they will think of a cool way to implement it so it's exciting all the same...

If you see in Indonesia, where I live, it is so sad. Motorola Indonesia do not advertise they product, even for Milestone. They do not at least fight against other vendor. They are so passive. In fact, they only launch few products in Indonesia. For so long I am waiting for their innovation.. I'm so jelous with people in China en Korea. Moto latest product in Indonesia before Milestone was ZN5... Hope they move more active... Both launching products and also advertising themselves.. WeLOVEMoto..

d4vd, 10 May 2010Why China always has privilege to taste the high technology of Motorola? Some of Android phone... moreBecause the fact is, people in China have some of the greatest spending power on consumer products, that means they have the $$$...even though not necessary coming out from the most appropriate sources.

Ibanovic, 10 May 2010Why do u need 3D for a phone? I just dont get it. It's just wasting. Years ago you probably never needed 3G, touchscreen, video call cam, camera, color mon, or even SMS on a mobile PHONE.

years ago people never knew they should make airbags standard....

Venom, 10 May 2010X10 will have HD recording after updateX10 will get HD video "after" update? When? Q4?

By that time this device maybe out with Android 2.2, if not 2.3...plus other goodies, likely at a price lower than X10

Motorola just can't catch a break among the haters. I mean they have been coming up with the the most unique and revolutionary phones for 2010 and people still hate on them.

Motorola Blackflip is the first unique useable form factor we have seen since the slider qwerty.

No one sees an application for 3D + 720p on a phone? Not for games, layered menuing, or videos? Maybe you would if it was a Nokia.

And serious, knocking a phone with both types of touchscreen? Now you can multitouch with your fingers like a full touchscreen bar phone or flip it open and do other things like handwriting or drawing with a stylus.

                                        Amazing how people are...
