and what price for making samsung phone ? 700$ ? flagship samsung phone ... moreSamsung isnt selling phones at dirt cheap.. But still, S6 is available at ~ 470$ here in India, which is far far better than Apple pricing... Plus 2k top-of-the-line amoled display.. Gorilla Glass 4 on front and back.. 3gigs ram.. All these costs higher in manufacturing than Apple i-ph-6.. Isnt it??
Well another explaination.. If you think Samsung is as much over-priced as apple is, then why not Samsung made 90% profit? Why is it stuck to only 14% profit?
And for your info, Samsung has much higher market share than Apple*..
Agree to it or not, this stat clearly proves, apple phones comes with most inflated pricing.. If you still act dumb, either you know nothing, or you are a i-fan..
Bruh, I'm nt a Samsung fan.. Infact I prefer Xiaomi or OnePlus due to their pricing.. Samsung also inflates price.. But still, not as much high as Apple.. You i-fan guys never try to understand or act stupid at every place..

Samsung has more market share than Apple.. So people buy Samsung more than Apple.. Still apple makes huge profit.. Only explaination comes, insane pricing for phones, that costs much cheaper to manufacture, compared to other brand flagships, say 6p, s6, z5 etc

and what price for making samsung phone ? 700$ ? flagship samsung phone ... moreEveryone knows Apple uses cheaper components and has negotiated very cheap prices with manufacturers.
The price example of that is that they use lcd screens, even when their chief designer admitted their screens look outdated compared to amoled. Looks like they'll finally switch though - when amoled is older and the price goes down.

On the hardware front it doesn't include the third and fourth biggest brands in the world.

No this proves how great iPhones are and people want to buy them more and more.
iPhone has great value for price and that's why more and more want iPhone.

The whole phone cost less than Samsung screen assembly alone (and many other android flagships e.g. Sony Z5 premium)"
Pure nonsense. iPhone 6s ja S6 cost about same to build, The difference is Apple selling tens of millions iPhones q after q, Samsung doesn't.
The one thing it does prove is how very overpriced iphones are, large corporations capitalist greed makes customers pay huge sums of money for very little (and low cost) hardware and yet these customers still love it. Looks really do count for a lot in a device.
If anyone asks himself the question of "why Apple has so much sales?", he can easily finds the answer (if he/she is not a superidiot):
BECAUSE, Apple keeps supporting the old phones with new OS's as much as possible. So, a 2 year old Apple never stops getting new OS's (like a Samsung phone does). So that's why people keep buying Apple's. As we see mostly, only internal guts change and old owners doesn't feel bad or try to sell old phones.
So, Shamesung, are you clever or superidiot (you lost SOOOOOOOOO many customers just due to this bad habit of stopping service just after 2 years)?
These numbers do NOT include Google or Facebook who both obviously are very profitable in mobile. They do not include many other very profitable mobile companies so I really never really understood the point.
If they can make so much on profit, how inflated is the price of the phones then? No wonder the devices are so expensive.
This maybe profit in NA or US only, not clear if this is NET profit either. Surely, Apple made more profit thank other companies, but not by the margin as per graphs above. The reason is very simple - iphone is overpriced piece of c***. The whole phone cost less than Samsung screen assembly alone (and many other android flagships e.g. Sony Z5 premium). So from the phone price $120 is the phone, 100$ is advertising, R&D is close to 0 (iphone are made from readily available outdated parts, except only few small bits) and the rest ~$500 is profit.
Subzz, 15 Feb 2016Make a phone at $150, r&d = $50, pay everyone else = $200
So, total = $400

and what price for making samsung phone ? 700$ ? flagship samsung phone price almost same as apple . u can get original replacement part for cheap price , how come the price still high ? because they have million core million ram on it?

My best guess: pretty sure it includes advertising costs, not sure if it covers R&D because it's a pretty broad field. Either way I don't think I'm very sure of anything right now lol.

The 90% figure has always been cited by everyone, and it's always from the same source, but it doesn't seem anyone even knows exactly what it is.
Wow these margins shure do tell how cheap it is to make an iPhone. With profits like this they must charge many times the price to make an iPhone. Anything from 3 times and up to 6 times. Well other manufacturers do it too. But only Apple truly gets away with it, since nobody seems to mind.
