Hmm..Nokia bought Alcatel-Lucent and suddenly the quality of phones became better. I wonder if it's just a mere coincidence or Nokia is trying to come back disguised as Alcatel. Because the design of this phone oddly reminds me of my old Nokia C7.
I thought they were back on windows mobile that is so much better than windiws phone, but they didnt.
If it's coming to T-Mobile, I'm getting it via jump.....I have 5 lines and at least three phones are up for jump at any given time I think lol. Even if I dont have jump, if its around five hundred dollars, I may buy it outright!.....and if it's four hundred dollars, Alcatel may well have a winner on it's hands.
This people are naives. There are no more Windows for PC, or Windows mobile, or Windows for this and that. Windows 10 is only one Windows. It works for PC, Hibrids, Laptops, and smartphones. Who does not want to make na app that works to all of them? When you think how much there are of them, and this figure is growing fast. Please consider this before saying about OS.
Haha finally a proper window 10 flagship I really like this os it's beautiful and since its the same thing. On phone and pc as a student there many good things in for me especially that continuum. But I was really pissed with how ugly the 950 I always bought Lumia because there were beautiful the Lumia 800 was sexy for it's time. I guess I can upgrade to this alcatel waiting for it's entry Ms. should focus on software there mobile design sucks wish they would follow the surface pro style but oh well.

PK, 17 Feb 2016All illiterate morons are her to say why sill making windows 10 mobile... You have to remembe... more"More than 250 millions windows 10 device are running..." uhuh, where's your source for this fanboy?
AJ_74, 16 Feb 2016...good idea to make its flagship device run on Windows 10? Windows Mobile is on life support.... moreDon't mistake market share with the quality of the OS. A flagship phone makes perfect sense to run Windows, whereas Android is never a good choice for such a device. (due to all the performance, stability and security issues and the dated user interface)
All illiterate morons are her to say why sill making windows 10 mobile... You have to remember that now PC & Mobiles app is universal app so you can run same app on your mobile as well as PC.
Lots of developer are interested to make new apps for windows 10 because they don't need to make apps separately for mobile, all they have to do is make an app and it will support in mobile & PC.
More than 250 millions windows 10 device are running...now. It doesn't matter whether it is mobile or PC because both can run same apps__So user are huge!
All the Android trollboys can say whatever they want. Android is a mess. Another example:
Android Mazar malware that can 'wipe phones' spread via SMS
If somebody wants a reliable phone, the option is W10m. Any HW is ok because w10m is not needed a powerplant to work....
Frankly speaking, people in the business world don't care much about whether it has snapchat or some tinder app. They just like to focus on there work. They are not consumers, mostly they use smartphones for productivity, for a genuine need that is part of a business process.
I use a Lumia 525 with W10M insider preview. The new builds are faster than W8.1 and works well on the Dual core 1Ghz processor. I use the browser to login to my bank, trello. Other apps like OneNote and Evernote and few more productivity apps does the job.
And a good camera for scanning and one in a while snap. Some music for relaxation. That's it.
Good looking, Lumia its a crap since owned by MS.
Hello MS just concentrate how to increase your app on the store not create a smart phone, you're not genius enough to create a smart phone. I used WP since Nokia era (WP 8.1 amber) and they are built a masterpiece.
Like it's design more than shitty lumia 950. And like it is 1080p display and not non sense QHD.
Very promising. Not only this Windows 10 phone, but Alcatel as brand is doing well.
I just switched to Android, after being an almost life long Windows Phone user. I am happy, even though I went from a flagship WP to a midrange Android device. I may go back, I may not.
I agree, the platform is not doing much to survive...however there are countries that have close double digit adoption of Windows Mobile. People, including me have to realize that there are major mobile market share differences in other parts of the world. I think what they are doing, as is the struggling HTC brand, and one of the world-leading brands Xiaomi, is building one phone, but allowing people from both Android and WP to buy the same phone.
Regardless of what/how Windows Mobile is doing now, their push into business could be their saving grace - and doing this allows manufacturers the chance to give options, while fans don't have to sacrifice the specs of a true flagship.
AJ_74, 16 Feb 2016...good idea to make its flagship device run on Windows 10? Windows Mobile is on life support.... moreWell, perhaps (and it's just a speculation, and I'm most surely wrong, right?) all these "smartphone mannies" know and understand Microsoft's strategy specifically and mobile business in general, to make certain moves in certain directions, despite what people on the Internet think.
