I think Xiaomi has everything that I need. I read about xiaomi in the theverge.com and I got interested in it. Two days later I went to store to see the phone, I wanted to check it out by myself. Hardware was perfect (for me,it was redmi note3) the software I thought I was using iOS.
Since then I have been thinking to have one of them or wait and see the 5

If anything, these users should ask the app developers to release Windows versions of those apps.
Anyway, the quality, stability, performance, reliability, and the most advanced mobile OS user interface in Windows phones are here to stay.
Windows phones are like fully electric cars. You might not always find a charging station nearby, but the cars are superior to petrol/diesel cars.

Any product coming from USA has the price "instantly" converting from US dollars to Euros, by magic. Samsung S7 will probably cost about 900 euros at launch...
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2016To be honest, this video was really stupid At least it makes sense compare to Samsung Seven days of Unboxing S7 promo video with a bunch of people, a llama and a painting. This video with some guy jumping rope shows speed & delivered that idea successfully.

from my side their is only one problem in all mi phones and that is only phone space
the chinese
making low quality low price, "easy"
making good quality high price " piece of cake"
low quality high price, "hm, not us"
high quality low price, "its mi5"
Opps....jumping fast
I all respect for serious companies make cell phones as Xiaomi.
Really considering between the S7 and the MI 5
AnonD-442781, 17 Feb 2016If it goes up to 450-500 it is still a good deal for what you get though.
But I agree, if ... moreThe truth is Chinese phone manufacturers cannot forever be marketed as the "low-cost" alternative to big-brands, eventually they'll have to build their own identity and innovate in some way to command higher prices (or, alternatively, find some other revenue source -- data collection for instance -- to make up for low-priced high quality goods).
Huawei is really showing the will to go the innovation path and upmarket their products (their Kirin SoCs had amazing CPU performance -- only to be let down by a "just competent" GPU, but their phone's design and build quality really show they want to become an outright contender to western manufacturers -- the Mate 8 really shows this).
Xiaomi, on the other hand, was built fully on the concept of being a "low-cost" but "high-quality" kind of venture, and they are really thriving that way. They also do their innovation in the software side, with MIUI (even though it's not to my taste). I'm also not forgetting who debuted first phones with 2.5D glass. Interesting times ahead!
(The Mi5 does look like a real beast in a sexy Samsung Edge-alike design)

But I agree, if they price it low, and release it on time, it wouldn't be surprising to see a lot of people with it. I just wish they did something more with the design to establish themselves. Either way, I'm guessing in a few years time both huawei and xiaomi will have been able to penetrate the west successfully.
mantu, 17 Feb 2016and after sometime the price will down insanely fastGreat! Don't know why you think that's a bad thing, unless you own an iPhone ;-)
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2016Well, if this will run on Android, it will be 'Insanely fast' for an Android device.
Compare ... moreGiven that iPhones are premium flagships then (being average) in that sense is a really big compliment to any phone, let alone one from a Chinese startup.
WPs are mostly useless with hard-data showing that people who bought it are mass-flocking to either Android or iPhone, so what's the point of being fast if it doesn't meet "standard requirements"?
AnonD-496818, 17 Feb 2016I consulted the magic book and saw that this phone will have a big ... ... success.Of course. Will take a big hit. I can tell you, live, as it waited for a lot of people. And many of them are waiting for him, are fans of other brands of phones. Xiaomi has an excellent tactic. Bravo to them. Deserves to have the full success.
I make a great pleasure your forecasts that you say all of the famous book ... magic ..:))
Have a good day, sir.
