It's a fake render put together. Notice how the screen looks as if its coming out of the case.... Im sure this is to mislead everyone. HTC is secretly keeping its phone under wraps
If its anything like the A9 feel then great as we have 3 of those and there bloody fantastic. Go as far as to say probably the best looking handsets in store. bezel .. no, the finger print reader is convenient and faultless and the feel of the device is super slick.
As for boom sound speakers I think too much is being made about that. really except for a few will ever play them that loud. Bit annoying. On the A9 it is crystal clear and the headphone jack that any proper sound enthusiast would prefer listening to is superior.
On the earlier M9 series the speakers created a gap in the smooth organic flow of the design and had a rough edge. So if you were going to put the speakers in by all means do but it should be a camouflage seamless integration and not stand out.
Look forward to end result. One thing is for sure, you have great quality overall.
n3o, 19 Feb 2016There are many people over here who are crying over the design, removal of boomsound, camera e... moreRemind us...what do they stand for again?
Loved HTC but actually on the fence now..hoping just maybe they will deliver that Flagship we all know they are capable of. Maybe it will come in the form of the next Nexus device as rumored.
AnonD-234961, 19 Feb 2016Let's call it another iPhone 6 clone. Why would you call it that without saying it's also a Samsung clone as well since it has a nearly identical home button?
Well, there goes the last reason to buy HTC devices... :/
Not only the fingerprint button but also on the white model you do not see any of the volume or power buttons, although these are well popping out of the body on the black version. I would also like to remind everyone the leaks on the M7 model that didnt look like the real m7.
The only difference is that it will be better and smoother than any Samsung flagship
This is a doctored image for sure.
What if HTC's reason for delaying the M10 is because they actually have 2 or 3 designs in mind? It could be possible that these leaks are an attempt to see what everyone's true reactions would be to drastic changes. Then, after getting our true opinions, they go with the design that best meets what the market wants. It also gives them a bit of time to see the market's reaction to Samsung and LG's new phones and then adapt changes to the M10 before a final release.
HTC never said front facing speakers were gone.
Everything right now is pure speculation based on a very low quality, blurry image of a phone that may or may not be the M10.
The media and bloggers have all been sheep following these rumors. All it is at this point is thin air. No substance or fact or proof.
I think if HTC is really holding out and allowing these leaks or even feeding these leaks to get our true reactions, then it is a clever idea. Dangerous, but clever.
People may make up their minds before even seeing the "real" M10 and go with Samsung or LG based on leaks and speculation. Shame on them for being foolish. At least wait for an OFFICIAL image from HTC of the M10 before making a choice.
I will wait for the real M10.
There are many people over here who are crying over the design, removal of boomsound, camera etc etc ,i would like to tell them to get lost if you dont want to buy. You guys are talking as if your buy could actually save them. M7, HTC one x+ and many more to name where best in the class but what happened? Did any of your buying brought the company to the road of profits? The answer is NO, you know why? Coz you all actually didn't had any of the HTC phones previously. If you really had an HTC phone previously, you would be knowing what HTC stands for and would not be ranting like an a$$...!

Everyone's complaining about design this...design that. All smartphones look the same nowadays and you're probably gonna cover it up with a case anyways so stfu
Now I see what is htc strategy here lool... the HTC M11 will look like an LG phone and the M12 like a Motorola
