I have the S6 Edge+ and whilst the edges don't do anything in particular, they do make the phone look not only super sexy but also quite unique. Why have a phone that looks like every other out there? I really hope there will be an S7 Edge+ version announced, information regarding that particular variant is limited.
1ns0mniac, 19 Feb 2016Ok! I like this cheap looking phone. Not planning to buy any Xiaomi in next 15 years atleast.ahahaha... nice!
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2016Totally agree, I fail to see how its sustainable to upgrade every 6 months, yes its nice, but ... moreRight.
They say Apple charges more to people who buy their products but the samfans don't even think that Samsung is building phones every 6 months. and the people buy their products once release in the public. If they will sum up the amount of money they spent to the phone, well it is twice amount than that in Apple iPhone. Not included on the accessories of the phone they bought separately. And the phone's performance changes after a few months. So for me I rather buy a product that will last long that receives update every now and then.
AnonD-493814, 19 Feb 2016@gayankap Why change the design? Most people loved the S6 and edge. sanketg786, 19 Feb 2016beautiul design...but battery sucks..samsung should do big battery phone like gionee marathon m5Bigger battery and so you can complaint about too heavy and too thick?
The reason they started doing updates every 6 months is because that's the average life span of an android phone
They actually did a study on the iPhone for upgrades. You only save about $200 if you upgrade every 3 years instead of yearly. The resale value goes down on your old phone so it almost cancels out what you would pay to upgrade.

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2016And who decided that phones aren't meant to be upgraded every year? People who are overly attached to their current smartphone decides not to upgrade every year. You sir, have no feelings. Nerd!

The newer, superficial generation where nothing pleases them for more than a few days apparently has decided that it's ok to upgrade every 6 months.
You have a piece of equipment, you use it til it fails, or you buy a new one whenever you want. They're not meant to be upgraded because they still function well (assuming it still does). It's entirely up to the user if he wants to upgrade.
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2016most rumours say sd card slot is thereThere is, I can confirm as a pre-production device tester.
Anonymous, 19 Feb 2016And who decided that phones aren't meant to be upgraded every year? Contracts! If you are binded to one when buying then you can't upgrade every year. You have to wait every 2 years. Btw, I doubt anyone will pay cash. Most pay with installment plan. You want to buy a new phone while your old phone is not fully paid yet? Go ahead and kill yourself with more debts. You guys are too obsess with smartphones.
AnonD-362683, 19 Feb 2016There is a fingerprint reader on the s7!Ha ha fingerprints > just fingerprints not scanner fingerprints.
Anonym, 19 Feb 2016Looks cheap, cheaper than the S6 Edge. Xiaomi Mi5 will make a killing.Ok! I like this cheap looking phone. Not planning to buy any Xiaomi in next 15 years atleast.
This is much mature design. Thanks for getting rid of chrome/silver ring around home button. Now it looks more elegent! And again, they improved their UI a looot! Its more drastic than their exterior design change! Its soo smooth, fast & beautiful!!!
