Apart from installation it also compiles the contents of the app...
Anonymous, 21 Feb 2016are you actually against waterproofing of the phones? Not against it but it's not something we desperately need. It's going to compromise the looks and feel. Still gonna buy it anyway

Rajesh, 20 Feb 2016Europe will get the Exynos.Back here in Africa we just have to wait for the one that gets imported to us whether snapdragon 820 or exynos 8 octa. Fingers crossed for the exynos though
All the specs seem cool but not so for the waterproofing. It makes the phone bigger bulkier and heavier so I hope that's not gonna be the situation here
zacsaturday, 20 Feb 2016Then why is a European retailer advertising a Snapdragon model if they're selling a Exynos oneI think many believe that this flyer is fake, due to the wording like TouchWiz skin. We will see. I hope that it's true because SD820 would be a huge deal for me.
Snapdragon 820 will beat all records.

By that argument are you saying the Exynos equipped S7 should cost more?
usman, 20 Feb 2016which chipset is better exynos or snapdragon?Exynos looks to be better in terms of performance, but I'm guessing the snapdragon has better battery life. Also, the snapdragon seems to have better features or something (something to do with camera in low light I think).
Overall exynos looks to be the better one, but the snapdragon is no slouch.

usman, 20 Feb 2016which chipset is better exynos or snapdragon?About the same (because else they wouldn't use it in the same phone). The Exynos has been a bit quicker over the last years, but the Snapdragon has better support for custom ROMs. Especially for people who want to use their phones longer than 2 years, the Snapdragon would be better.

Where did you find the dimensions for the phone?

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2016because in the real world android is a bulky piece of doo doo running on a 20 year old java backendOh the ignorance of customers.
Android is mostly written on C.
You probably have in mind of the apps (which are not "android") parts of which are indeed written in Java. But since Android v5 their code is being compiled to native code (ART). So no just in time compilers , no inefficiencies ... Welcome to your future. ...
3 problems I detect:
1) Bigger than 70x140mm (the absolute threshold for one handed use)
2) Sealed battery (the phone won't last for more than 2 years)
3) Snapdragon (business as usual in performance, unlike last year that S6 blew us out of the water performance wise)
The solutions:
1) Smaller bezels: they can retain 5.1 inches with one handed usability. LG G2 was 5.2 inches and smaller than this phone, it's 3 years old too, the tech is here.
2) Mechanism to remove the battery (like Samsung ' s very own wave). That way you retain the metal body and all the benefits of removable tech
3) Like one user above me wrote: "WTF Samsung?". You simply had to pay more for RnD and create a SoC of your own. if I'm to pay $800 for a Samsung performance I want the best SoC in existence. Everybody and his cat would have SD820 this year 'round. Come ooon.
