I like the rear home button + fingerprint scanner idea better like those many Chinese brands are doing. Easier to reach and faster. Top and bottom bezel need to be smaller. They slimed the sides but now it looks elongated.

Samsung has more or less hit an asymptote in terms of their flagship overall design. There won't be any big changes that I can see (even though I would love for them to remove those damn buttons off the chin especially the home button). As a Nexus owner (6P is my DD) I don't care what Samsung does. LG seems to be the only OEM to seriously redesign their flagship and strive to be different in a good way. I'm not a fan of the G5, but it offers something new and innovative. Right now I think LG will win this round overall unless their phone turns out to be terrible.

Don't act surprised unless this is only your second time seeing Samsung phones after S6. All Samsung smartphones from Galaxy S to S7 looks the same from the front. All the mid range also looks the same. All the budget lines also looks the same. There are rare cases when they make it looks different like J3. Of course we are talking about Galaxy lines. Though, the Active lines are more rugged. The Windows(Ativ) version rather much the same except capacitive button placement. Thus, the name Samesung. Forcing the 'equality' idea too far.
Good specs&features, but am I the only one who is disappointed in the New Galaxy lines design? I mean, it looks good and everything, and I don't expect any company to overhaul anything that has worked in the past, but these minor improvements are really...minor. Why follow basically the iPhone lines, and basically release an S version?
Anyway, waiting for the negative comments trying to tell me off for sharing an opinion :D
PS: Not a fan of any company, only tech :)
