Vkg, 23 May 2010When will the Milestone get the update?The Motorola Droid is scheduled to get this update in June, so I'd expect the Milestone to be getting the update around then.
As for the N1 user making fun of Motorola users, go buy yourself an iphone please, you're making Android users look bad.

HTC target date for 2.2 update for the Desire is June 23rd as of now. If there are no problems, that will probably be it.

Already a day running Froyo, love it so much :D
Now awaiting Cyanogen make it much more perfect, miss some functionality on Cyanogen.
Anyway I will continue stick with stock Froyo now as it is too rock:
- Flash 10.1 support! yeah!
- Huge improvement over floating point, at Eclair, linpack score around 6 -7 fps but under Froyo, you get 35 - 42 fps.
- Better UI or new features on camera, gallery, search, messenger.
- Integrate Tethering & portable hotspot.
- Data Access On Off Function.
- Integrate of Apps2SD (need adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2 to make it default to SDcard and make move tab active)

people asking about 2.2 for desire: i think htc made a statement about releasing 2.2 update for their 2010 devices like legend, desire, EVO etc. in Q4 this year. i wont be surprised to see it arrive on the last day of the year. am losing hope in htc very fast, cant wait for WP7 to hit the market and may get the dell lightning. although i like the sense skin over android, i think htc should speed up with the ROMs. by the time 2.2 arrives for htc desire etc, the nexus one could be running gingerbread.
