lol I seen a lot of people bashing LG over it's modules cause they dont wanna carry a bunch of spares for their phone, are these same people gonna praise samsung for its innovation? probably!
West, 24 Feb 2016this is what Nokia ought to have doneAs soon as Nokia start to make smartphones again , free from Microsoft, they will do again great things.
AnonD-294, 23 Feb 2016That's why LG G5 has dual lens ! G5 doesn't need extra wide lens because its aleady has built in onein actuality, you really do not need this extra lens. the galaxy S7's camera (as it is) will blow the G5 away. pls unbox the G5 underwater pls...
Why no single picture , how looks the case without the lenses mounted on it? ?
AnonD-14584, 23 Feb 2016 Samsung, release a new GALAXY S7 K ZOOM instead of this sh*t !!!And why should we buy two devices, when we can do same with one? And this to be best smartphone yet, (with best camera)
Kettzy, 23 Feb 2016The lens does seem to be blocking the flash. And flash is useless for the telephoto. And low-light capabilities are much better for wide-angle .
Try some other bashing.
AnonD-422306, 23 Feb 2016Point well made, I agree, both Samsung and LG delivered well. High hopes for the Mi5. Thanks mate.. But refinement was necessary indeed.. While phone makers went on incrementing ram, performance, design, slickness, they started to miss something or the other.. Like G4 had great camera, but battery life was very poor.. Same was the case with samsung.. They fixed it to an extent with Note 5.. But remained sd-card support and various other things..
Next step was even more incremental updates, to build a 'perfect phone'.. Which is infact great.. Those having s6 won't be dissappointed + those planning to buy something new won't be unhappy..
Only thing missing for me is the IR Blaster..

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2016The lens block the flash, how can it be samsung???? Useless at night. just because you cant use the flash does not mean its useless at all, excellent low light skills plus manual controls mean you can easily get by without a flash
Anonymous, 23 Feb 2016The lens block the flash, how can it be samsung???? Useless at night. Guess you cant get it all, Why not use a flashlight!
'and the whole module is significantly smaller, reducing the dreaded camera bump."
Gsmarena, I know you guys like Samsung, me too sometimes but don't you also have to admit that they just made the device 1.1mm thicker and left the camera in size as it is, what of course makes the difference between camera and phone back smaller but of course does not mean, the camera got smaller?

Useless at night.
could be useful for stalkers when taking photos in stealth mode behind the bushes.
