What they meant when they said that N900 won't get MeeGo is that you won't get an update that installs MeeGo, you will have to do it yourself manually, which isn't that complicated.

Anonymous, 26 May 2010N900 is so laggy, just look at that lag in Firefox and when scrolling lists.Blame mozilla for that cause the microB browser which is standard on the n900 works perfect
And it's developed by mozilla using mozilla technology

N900 its really a great phone, even i did overclocking to 930mhz it runs smooth without crash. The bad things is Nokia duno how to control this beast and let it run wild without proper direction.

ohh, so many things still missing, lets hope the next update isnt all that far away...

Too bad about meego... but on the otherhand, if meego is what intel showed a little while ago, its not what i thougt it would be.
Lets hope nokia gets meego on track got phones.

The new update is awesome and can't wait until Wednesday for my update. Far as video calling so looking forward to it however, I been able to recieve video calls for awhile now. As far as Android being better with the 1ghz snapdragon which has soo much freezing issues it's unreal better then the N900; PLEASE!!!! It's so funny how these so called bettter competitors are bitting off nokia creations from social networking, flash in the browser and etc.

Let's see how the N8 compares... at least it's Symbian (or despite).

Still no Flash 10 support (which GSMArena said would be available in their review of the N900). No hardware accelerated YouTube.

Great phone for web browsing and nice UI but a nice YouTube app and a quality Sat Nav program is what I really need...

this phone has had ups and downs but i must say the few ups it has had really make other phones look childish. great emulators great customization, and very stable apps for over clocking! When i download this i can only imagine the opportunities it will bring not just from a business stanpoint but from a community one too.

I think nokia didn't realize what kind of monster it let loose in the wild with practically mo strings attached to it. this phone regardless what anyone will say of it will continue to stay on par with even phones of next year. And those are going to be more powerful tech wise but the N900 will still give them a run for there money. Just saying. Cant wait to update.
