Nice device. Probably the price is annoying. And even that the iPad is absolutely stupid gadget, it can give you more reasons to obtain it on a half of the price.
I can't understand people who give 500 euro for such crap

Hello!!!, 25 May 2010With SuperAmoled that kind of stuff... must be Samsung.Yeah, I am sure, Samsung will be in the game too. Sammy usuall throws everything in. Super AMOLED with Atmel touch.. wow..I have been wanting this kind of device for a long time. HTC has it's advantage series but kind of bulky and the os wasn't as good as Android though.

You don't need your laptop anymore to travel. I remember Dell, HP and Palm are in the game of PDAs six years ago. And HTC beats them up with 2.8 inches screen smartphones and they were out of the game.

Now Dell is in the game again with a big gun. It's kinda interesting. But I don't like Dell in terms of sound quality. Both it's laptop and PDAs have very poor sound quality. HP usually puts best sound to their PDAs but it looks like, HP stills asleep in the game.

I don't understand why people are complaining about the size? This is more aimed at the laptop/tablet people. The added phone capabilities is just a bonus.

I for one can't wait til i don't have to carry my mini laptop around. This design is perfect screen size for mini laptop users and way smoother portability.

Anyone who is thinking of having this as a primary phone should look elsewhere, it's not for you.

The other day i thought i saw i guy pull out a big Plasma TV out of his bag, but it was just the Apple iPad, that is one big ass whatever? Dell Streak is way smoother and portable without people thinking you're a loon.

Man, this is awesome. It is more useful than iPad. It can be a good gaming device and portable movie player. Hopefully, the price should not be sky high. I like the design so much. I wish some of the future devices have the following features:

          1. 1GHz and a good GPU like Samsung Wave
          2. Large screen with at least 5 - 7 inches (1280, 800 pixels)
          3. Latest Android with office
          4. Both primary and secondary cameras
          5. A large battery probably, (3000 mAh)
          6. Both phones and VOIP features
          7. Super AMOLED
          8. A good stereo speakers (regarding to Dell, sound usually suck$!
          9. All the connectivity features (Bluetooth, Wifi and HSDPA)
          10. What else? It's awesome.

Dell strike again!! totally missing the point and trying to cash in.... Who wants 5" device weighing there pocket down. For that size i'd expect 720p res, not 480p. It's O2 exclusive cos' nobody else wants to carry it.

I want one, the fact that you can use it to call (with a blue tooth obviously!) wins hand down over the ipad, take that isheep! Also if its exclusive to O2, does that mean they are loosing out on their exclusiveness with apple full stop? may hint at a non exclusive iphone!?

I won't buy unless it come with 512mb RAM. Multitasking rely on RAM too, not just fast CPU alone.

I hope this will be available SIM free at a reasonable price. O2 data speed is not so good compared to other providers.
