MiMi, 26 Feb 2016I believe there might be a slight mistake here: "with bands 38 / 39 / 40 / 41 left with uncert... moreHe has updated with "uncertain" placed just after "bands", so all bands remain uncertain until they appear on xiaomi's website.

I believe there might be a slight mistake here: "with bands 38 / 39 / 40 / 41 left with uncertainty".
IF one copy-pastes the table from "Q: What networks and LTE bands are supported?" (http://en.miui.com/thread-231030-1-1.html) it becomes visible that the "uncertain" band is actually FDD-LTE 29 only.

I hope this turns out to be true. I would buy one of these for Verizon and then unlock the boot loader.

qidamin, 26 Feb 2016Hey people from GSM Arena, you used to be a very serious website for phones and these kind of ... moreThat was bad news! But you are right!

Copying the text from the source, the "(Uncertain)" is at the end of the first FDD line (and not referring to the TDD line) - too bad ;(

This makes it a LOT more sensible that it is not launched globally....

Hey people from GSM Arena, you used to be a very serious website for phones and these kind of stuff but you are getting bad and bad with rumors etc...can't you read? it is written "uncertain", it means that now nobody knows about the bands! even the guy who have posted the news first just claimed that the phone has 1/3/7, now he has updated but still, it is "uncertain" so far.

The bands are great news, previous rumours claimed that not all std European bands were included.

I wonder why they would NOT launch it in the EU/US. It seems like they could get a lot of buyers - even if they gave it English UI only. (I set any device to English anyway, as translations to Danish for any brand usually are so horrible that it is useless) All that is needed is a national keyboard and vocabulary - but that is easy to find, e.g. Swype,.
