does anyone know the price for the g5 phone+soundbar thing+cam thing ? is it around 900$ ?
Be careful, 29 Feb 2016Samsung are crap phones. My current samsung phones is the last. God save me from samsung phone... morethe reason why samsung doest change look, is bc of apple. everyone else can look like apple, but not samsung. samsung is the only brand that can compete with apple, and that is why apple is always after samsung, no matter what samsung does. so samsung dont want to beg and pay apple for allowance to change the look, and so they just stick with what works. and, samsung sure isnt cheap, but great hardware.
i do miss the sgs4 features tho, where samsung was unique.
What is the meaning of this post.. We can not compare s7 and g5 as same.. Same chipset doest make same devices they are different makers.. May be in the same country.. they use diffrent technologies.. We can not say galaxy s7 better than g5 if even gsmarena wanted to say.. Bullshit
Gsmarena is always on Samsung's side...Lg G5 is better even if it's not too "famous"...but everyo e has his/her own opinion...i'm a Lg G4 owner,i had Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S5 and i can say that i prefer LG smartphones...i'm not calling myself a fan of a mobile trademark but from my personal experience i can say that LG G5 is the only flagship smartphone that has a swappable battery and supports micro sd cards and also ot has a full metal body...so this is very uniqe for me and that's a very important reason for me to buy it and keep it for the next 2-3 years
Subzz, 29 Feb 2016Heard of "power banks" ?Is it really that difficult for you to understand? The point is you dont have to carry anything with you in case of a removable battery. You dont have to worry about charging when the battery is low. Just swap it and you are back to 100% in a couple of seconds.
Diego Garcia, 29 Feb 2016Well Apple for example would charge over $100 to replace the battery, which only costs $15-20 ... moreYeah but we´re not talking about Apple here :). Apple is a world of extremes :). Selling 16 GB phone for 1000 USD (at least in my country). Not talking about expensive accessories.
Alien, 29 Feb 2016Are you sure?? I'm not really into removable batteries and i don't care if my phone has that o... moreYou are right but the problem is people who steal phones don´t have that knowledge. If they did, they wouldn´t have to steal phones. If my Note 4 didn´t have a removable battery, I´d be able to trace it or erase SD contents after it was stolen from me last year. But they just removed the battery even though it was PIN locked so they have all my SD data. Not phone data (probably), because I sent a request to erase everything so if the phone receives the request when it´s turned on, it got deleted. Hopefully.
Brian sohai, 29 Feb 2016Are you retarded? If someone stole my phone, he/she will immediately off my phone instead of... moreHow can they turn off your phone if the screen is finger-print locked and they cannot remove the battery? They have to wait for it to discharge.
ZL User india, 29 Feb 2016Ridiculous. Carrying 2nd battery everywhere u go leaving appart Investing in another battery f... moreyou dont get the point: whats the preference between have a 2nd battery you can swap it or have a bigger powerbank always behind you?
Subzz, 29 Feb 2016Heard of "power banks" ?Yeah, they're shit and wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.
xeroxxxxxxxxx, 29 Feb 2016Suddenly waterproof is important...... It's not important until you've had a waterproof phone, then it becomes important. Being able to use your phone in the bath without worrying about dropping it is useful.
Not a deal breaker though.
One thing I have learn over the past two years is: LG always tries to implement the latest and best technologies offered by Qualcomm, which is a leader in SoC manufacturing, an my favourite.
Sony also follows this route.
Samsung always tries to implement some in-house technologies, and only chooses Qualcomm when the in-house offerings are clearly weaker or are not yet available, like it happen on the 8-series Exynos for the S7 duo in favour of Qualcomm's chip and last year for wireless charging technology in favour of a in-house tecnology.
OnePlus, Xiaomi and many other OEMs - Chinese or not - always try to give the latest SoC, but they cut in some features for cost reasons.
Quick Charge is nice. But having the option to turn if off is better.
In fact, I prefer to not have it, as it damages my battery over time, with high temperatures and stress.
