Still looks ugly. Symbian has too many menus. Too much digging. Just look at how flashy and awesome the experience is with Android, Windows 7 Series and iPhone. Sorry. But this thing fails to impress. It doesn't even look modern. It looks so 2005. And 470 euro? Uh, Nokia you just FAILED. This is gonna be the next n97.

The N8 looks impressive but was this a Protoype or finished version,as it looks fast but still some time waiting for things to arrive,Nokia under pressure trusting Symbian an might be there last Symbian phone before Windows 7,Nokia thought the iPhone would not be better than Symbian but got it Totally wrong,an have got to stop thinking just because of the good name Nokia as got they are still peoples favourites mobiles but people now are switching to faster an more efficient mobiles, hope something happens now with the Shake-UP at Nokia they change there ideas an get back to Normal

Nokia always lost the momentum because too slow to put the products into the market. (look at N900 its dead end because too many competitor like miley, SE X10, HTC Desire with android). Nokia strategy of releasing the product almost one at a time. While apple realease the product very fast..with bang!! So release N8 faassstttt! before Iphone 4G!!! or it will be just like other 8-12Mpix phone on the market.

It hardly gets simpler than this, you get 3 home-screens for you widgets that you freely customize and personalize to fit your needs, but I guess some people just must be told what to do and how to do it... sad.

But I wont be getting the N8, I must have a hardware keyboard for my large fingers, maybe slide-out N8 version at the end of the year, lets hope!

regarding Os'es, for me whether it's symbian, winmo or android it doesn't matter eyecandy is great but all i need is a great ebook reader, a videoplayer that plays everything and comic book reader and a big screen. i got all that with the onmiahd and now the htc hd2. used an iphone before was really amazed by it but all that wears of again. everybody just goes back to what they need the phone for. i think this version of symbian looks great and has the functionality and eye candy of the latest android. the only thing iphone and android have over symbian and winmo is probably the apps avail in an instant and of course the free ones.
