joge, 01 Mar 2016Beautiful design by Samsung If they were to create a curved screen how else would they make it? Of course it would look like Samsung, "copying" each other's design is inevitable if you are confined to a rectangular shape with a screen in front and a camera behind as well as buttons on the sides or top.
I think for US$ 655 in China, its hard to be a successfull smartphone outside China
Cheeki, 01 Mar 2016WTF wow what a shameless rip-off looks like a iPhone6s merged with a Galaxy Edge and even the ... moreits impossible to make a rectangular phone without having similarities to other phones. every phone maker have copied features and design from each other. the antenna lines looks more like htc than iphone and also samsung supplies amoled edge screen .
imo , this phone is overpriced compared to Mi 5.
Grey1213, 01 Mar 2016Is this the one with 2gb discrete gpu ram, or is it 6gb general ram?I think so.

Copy Apple back design and color
Copy Samsung design (curved screen as S6 Edge/S7 Edge)
Copy Huawei fingerprint design
Very expensive for a Vivo and questionable build-quality and durability. I bet the curved screen added $100 to the price of the phone.
After owning two Vivo handsets, my opinion will be to stay away from Vivo.
1) Follows the marketing strategy of Samsung & LG, hence completely unjustifiable sky high initial price.
2) Even though Chinese Vivo flagships cost more or less the same as of Samsung & LG ones, they are not able to provide any further android version upgrades like the Koreans do. If it comes with Android Lollipop, it will remain like that for its entire life. Hence if you are paying that amount of money gun for Samsung & LG.
The only reason one will vouch for this phone is for it Hi-Fi audio quality through headphones, and for that the sky high $655 Xplay5 Elite model only makes sense.
If you are not able to provide international availability then why you are making international announcement.
Just raising the demand and no supply. Depressing.
