Because i sympathize you, i like that you're a fan another manifestation of interactive environments, do my beliefs exception, that to ignore those who leave after the raft, and a phrase to show you that you wrote it yourself, "That is, if everyone knows that new technology in software requires higher consumption of memory resources". Then, if you know this, you and other like you, why do you express it in a way that proves otherwise?
From the medical point of view, this kind of act responsibly toward an answer has ...:)
I do not like people liars, cowards, etc. I do not like people they have nothing but they wont.
Best regards, mister.
My current iPhone 6 (64) has a capacity of 55.7GB left after ios 9.2.1. Assuming I didn't eat my school fee, ios 9.2.1 is using 8.3 GB of my storage. Why do I not see negative articles attacking Apple for this? As I asked elsewhere, why are so called bloggers and journalist seemingly on the take to make Samsung look bad? How is the S7 using 8GB of storage any worst than ios using 8.3 GB of storage on my iPhone? Can someone help me make sense of this please. I am not beholden to any one company, so in the interest of fairness, I am asking.
And oh yeah one more thing "reserverd system space" that means how much is reserved for system for updates and all that sh*t,but sometimes updates can be even larger,or even smaller.
And in the famous book of magic my need to update memory to 64 GB...:)))
This happens when the technology advances.
1st of all TouchWiz problem is not in his size.2nd Samsung is already known for heavy weight roms(systems).3rd TouchWiz only problem is that he is heavy weight for system-RAM memory.4th Have you ever noticed how laggy sometimes was older Samsung devices, even with extra strong processors, well that's cuz they had first 1gb ram>1.5gb ram>2gb ram>2.5gb ram>3gb ram>4gb ram.5th They have made this order of "leveling up" ram memory cuz they wanted to stick with TouchWiz,but they were afraid of battery consumption,so they started easy step by step (512 by 512).6th More pixel density means better and fluid graphics, that means more ram memory and more job for optimising TouchWiz (UI) cuz battery consumption on new animations,transitions,effects...blah blah...etc.. (everything again, almost from start).7th "All that glitters is not gold".8th Im not some crazy LG or Samsung fanatick, but i think LG "vanilla" style of UI is almost perfect, same thing is for LG rom's(systems),usually no unecesseraly cr^p and image files are about 2-5gb at max unpacked size. 9th I love Samsung, but they need really to get rid of that TouchWiz basis, cuz is too heavy for system and its not so practical for everyday medium to heavy users "if i would ever want phone to looks kinda nice and all that unneceseraly sh*t,i would buy ^iMstupid Phone 123456789^"
The OS should have its own memory chip and that 32Gb should be free for the user. At least with the 849€ price tag.
LMAO! So Samsung is actually selling you a 16gb phone instead of 32gb.
They really need to optimize the space, 8GB for OS is freaking too much for a smartphone.
Almost as large as windows in the PC. lol

If you were rational, you would've thought the Samsung fans would embrace the new features at the cost of higher memories, not complain about it. If you can read at all, you would notice that a lot of people complaining about high memory are in fact fans from other brand camps. Contradiction was in your very first reply.
And if you can kindly point to a phrase where I stated "new software = less memories"
I would declare you a magician.
AnonD-378484, 02 Mar 2016Funny part is s7 will be a hit like s6. I'm using touchwiz. Prefer it over stock. Stock makes ... moreStock is nice but to barebone, and TouchWiz is too much.
LG had a good skin, Sony too but LG has more of the nice features from Samsung with less bloat.
This site.... 8GB doesn't mean touchwiz uses that much. Use your brain people. Its just how much is reserved... Simply a better safe than sorry approach.
AnonD-442781, 02 Mar 2016How much does it take on the nexus 6p?Around 3,3gb I guess.
AnonD-5197, 02 Mar 2016Actually, it seems people who are enraged or make fun about Android + TouchWiz taking 8GB are ... moreMy dear, don't realize that in one phrase you exposed, you have contradicted YOURSELF twice. Any rational human people, on this earth, even at the kindergarten level, knows that any technology that progresses will become more like volume, capacity, etc.
If you want to prove the opposite, that you're not prepared, then you start to beat plains, finally managed to make yourself laugh. Now it's clear?
Ij, 02 Mar 2016I don't think even Windows 10 takes that much spaceDepending on version, is takes more space but still just 20% more than this.

Touchwiz/Android launcher takes up over 8g in my Note 4 and has since I got it. How is this new?
With the new technology, they will consume more memory, whether talking about cell phones, computers, TVs, etc. I do not understand how some of forumisti, didn't know this until today.
The companies can easily remedy this during production of the storage by adding 7GB extra.
