64gb will be the standard for new/upcoming devices. google should give info about the size of the os version in their website.

The problem with operating system capabilities on phones will in fact be a commonplace and normal in the future. All companies make cell phones will need to use as the internal memory storage 32 GB minium of STANDARD.
In connection with those who will buy this phone will see that S7, over 2 or 3 months are going to be very unhappy he will regret that they gave money on an banal product. Propaganda made by Sammy, will only catch the suckers and dupes.
My LG G4 6.0 uses about 10.8GB! I just factory resetted it yesterday. 10GB is a lot, but yet the phone doesn't have as many apps as Samsung (I also have an S6), so it's interesting that the OS takes so much space initially.
AnonD-442781, 02 Mar 2016Apparently stock marshmallow uses over 5gb. Not sure how much over, would be nice if someone w... moreI use an Android One device running stock M v6.0. The storage specs is 16GB. The available storage for me is 11.82GB. From that, 5GB is used for apps and caches. So, probably, I can assume that this 11.82GB is the leftover after system usage. That being said, the system only use around 16 - 11.82 = 4.18GB of storage. That if the 16GB is truly 16GB, which is not the case.
It is also true for older samsung phones. My s4 have only 7.5 gb free space after lollipop(ART). But my lg g2 have 12 gb free. Both are 16 gb models.
On my S6 it takes 8.98 GB after 6.0.1 update.
I have now .. more RAM free.. 1.1GB free most of time
What about RAM management? How much RAM is taken?Tried to check that yesterday, but I was in a rush and couldn't find the option to check the usage.
Hey manufacturers! If you can put Marshmallow on 8 gig phone and use 3 gig DON'T use more on phones with more memory. If users want bloatware THEY DOWNLOAD IT BY THEMSELVES. Keep it as compact as it can be no matter the phone. You slow the phones down with all the exess stuff. When we buy phones with more memory and better specs we expect it to be twice as fast with twice the specs. Well sometimes THEY ARE NOT WHEN THEY ARE FILLED WITH BLOATWARE.
and 2.sim takes away up to 200GB from you, so you are down to 16GB. Really, smart phone.
