i'm a sony ericsson/ htc desire devotee and i'm looking at these with a LOT of jealousy.
bicycle charger is a MUST in this day and age. nokia have trumped everyone else with these products.

So where everyone else is going UP (consumer, price, feature wise) nokia decides to go down, taking its target audience, prices and features with it.
It might actually be a sound money making strategy considering their target group is sufficiently widened by these low cost multi-purpose everyman phones.

Opera mini also works fine in it. Samsung release it september2009. Nokia is doing what that time? And how you comparing a 3MP or 5MP Samsung duo with Nokia C2. Some people needs both Mega pixel camera, touch screen and dual sims. Whats the nokia alternative there? And i am not a Samsung fanboy bcoz i already have a Nokia E71 and i am happy with that smartphone and also with my secondary phone Samsung C3212. I just wanna said that Dual active sim is now not the feature of Chineese phones. Well knows brands also accepts this. But Nokia is not the first among them.

In my country The dual-SIM phones are increasing in a brutal way as a lot of people now got 2 SIMs one for work & one personal and nobody wanna walk with 2 phones no more.
the Chinese phones which don't have any ID's like NOKIO & others takes the charge here but they don't worth a penny.
The only original phones with Dual-SIM are samsung D980 annd another candy-bar samsung also
The people here worships knows NOKIA.
so NOKIA will make a fortune by this low-end phones.

Great!These low cost phones can make huge fortunes to the company. But the thing about Nokia is that they announce a new phone and that news remains dead for a long time. It is several weeks(or months) later that the phone is actually available. This decreases the novelty factor, the phone feels old even before hitting the shelves.

1) only limited sms storage (only 300 on Samsung, while unlimited on Nokia)
2) No applications and games
3) s40 ui is far better than Samsung java ui
4) Nokia also supports their midrange s40 phone
and so goes a long list.

I am not so surprised because i already have Samsung C3212 with also support dual sim and both are active at a same time. Also has a VGA camera and support memory card upto 8GB. There are 3more sets too. One of them has full touch screen and 5mp camera called Samsung D980. Samsung D880 has 3.15mp camera and Samsung C6112 has 2mp camera. So if you aren't a blind nokia fanboy then you should check those out. All of their specification is available in Gsmarena...:-D
