They will have to pry the M8 from my cold, dead hands before I switch to a new device. The HTC One M9 was not compelling enough to make me want to upgrade my devices. I hope that the new version of the flagship product from HTC will excite me enough to want to spend for a new phone. I have also been researching the Robin phones but haven't been convinced that it is worth the expense.
Maddox, 07 Mar 2016I've been buying HTC flagships for the last 4 years I think..
HTC one x..
HTC one x+
HTC ... moreTotally agree..
"Let's remove one of our unique selling points.. the Stereo front speakers.. "
.. retards. I'm looking for a replacement of my HTC One M7. But if the '10' looks like this.. it's absolutely a won't buy ..
fario, 08 Mar 2016HTC makes the most reliable phones in the world from my own experience with HTC m8 for almost ... moreI agree.. m8 is a great phone.. i think i could use it for 3 more years before upgrading to a new htc flagship..
stace, 08 Mar 2016i work with r&r and the htc by far have a lot less faults than the samsung devicesAgree.. htc sense is way more better than touch wiz..
I wonder how much cost they could shave off the phone for having it not equipped with BoomSound speakers. If there's relatively no adjustment in retail price, HTC may not be executing a sudden death of their own but could be closer to their grave
i work with r&r and the htc by far have a lot less faults than the samsung devices
Bigben, 08 Mar 2016HTC is not listening to their customers, again.... No Boomsound, ugly physical button in front....Sadly, you are very right.
The boomsound was a must have feature.
That button had to be on the back of the phone....
These pics look like someone smashed an M8 and a Galaxy S4 together
I have HTC Butterly 3 in UK. Had M7, M8 Sensation XE and more top HTC phones.
Never had a problem and software looks better than chavvy plasticy samsung.
HTC is not listening to their customers, again.... No Boomsound, ugly physical button in front....
Liam, 07 Mar 2016Sad to see BoomSound speakers go :(Yes really sad... Boomsound was the main identity of hTC and they have skiped that only.... very sad :-(
AnonD-497032, 07 Mar 2016Now, i became very clear what follows the company HTC. Namely, a "battle" directly with Samsun... moreDude the way you write impresses me. So poetic it is. Most low earth forms like me are really surprised to find people of your caliber wasting their time here when they could actually write a quality piece of literature!
Hope you get it! Man, my gut says you are the next Homer. Best of luck, dude.
You can bet your bottom dollar there will be a whole bunch of follow ups after this has launched and this is what puts me off buying an HTC phone. Why can't they just stick to this and a plus version at most? Last year was the worst with so many variants of the M9. Sales people would probably have thought to themselves to save the hassle and try to sell another flagship instead. I'll wait and see the camera reviews and if there will be another variant coming in its wake.
I think what HTC makes great is that they provide great user experience ( software) and the design along with steady and durable charm hardware, That being said...
Cost and differentiation competition is immense, People respond to new innovations...
A good camera and the rumored specs like the processor, display ram should make it a great choice, if not the greatest
If only they had met the customers expectations consistently....but they kind of dint and HTC's marketing was poor
But i might get the htc 10, htc has never failed me and my crap lg g2 and g3 had display issues, used the note 4/5 and the g6 and iphone 6s
Note 4/5 - are very good phones ( best phablets for no doubt !)but its a bit too big and the user interface isnt charming and i never get to use all its features.. so it doesnt make sense for me to have a note
s6 has the best display but its a bit slippery and not a fan of glass panels
Iphone 6s has its simplicity and unmatched convenience in using the phone with solid hardware and i did feel like there is an emotional attachment to the pone :). Even though i admire there software, i have the need of to downloading songs/videos and files from my mobile, i need to open the root folder and move files and use an SD card
HTC was ahead in terms of my requirements, But i hope to godthe camera is improved this time around !
Shred, 08 Mar 2016I really hope these are not the final images and that all leaks so far are off the mark. As s... moreI believe the same that the X9 looks very unique and coherent than the M10. It would be great if HTC could swap off the X9's design with the M10's :p
Shred, 08 Mar 2016I really hope these are not the final images and that all leaks so far are off the mark.
As s... moreI agree. I think HTC nailed it in regards to the design of the M7 and M8.
I've had all HTC One series starting from M7 (which apparently is my very first HTC phone).
I bought an HTC One M9+ (as the regular M9 is not available in my region) and currently using HTC One A9.
By far, the very best looking HTC phone for me is M7 followed by M8 > A9 > M9+
Although all of them look very appealing.
Sad to sea htc still producing small screen this way 5.1 is considerd small in today race and it should consider 5.5-6.0 inch
Oh Well, I Will Just Stick With My M8 , and Buy A New Battery And Chargering Port For It. I Am All About The Music, I Could Care Less About The Camera. Sorry Maybe When They Make A Phone That Pertains To Music, Or Put Boomsound Back. But If They Don't Thats OK. I Will Keep Buying A Battery Every 2 Two Years. And A New Charge Charging Port. Oh Well.... I Will Save My Up Grade For A Phone I Want Down The Road.
