sa11oum, 08 Mar 2016I think it's pretty sad that most Google apps run better on iOS than Android.For Google on Android; they have no way to optimise for all the variations in hardware, being resolution, ram and bus speed or even CPU capability (or variant).
Arguably they could have priorities for their apps in the OS, though vs a closed system like Apple's, it would be hard to make their apps shine on all devices.
And, yes, even top tier parts would miss out on hardware being used.
I applaud them for supporting the iPad Pros native res etc,.. as in a competitive market environment they could screw over the competition easily, but here they have clearly put users first.
Live Photos (like in Lumias) and Split View (like in Notes)?
Now that's innovation!

The best thing to happen to photos since kodak started making cameras! Honestly love Google Photos!
