love the back side of this phone. but the front.. hmmm..
i would like to see this phone in smaller size. (3,5 inch is enough)
i need this phone
much bvter than n8 or htc 4g
Xenon!!! Maybe it's time to shift to another camp (I'm an avid SE fan). I'm considering this phone now. The phone's what i've been waiting for.

It really come in handy on-the-go situations when you just have to do things fast. And doing it before clients can really melt them for your ability to take care things in-time.
Met a guy about last month looking for a new handset that can specially edit Office documents and from him I learn his father does the same.
This phone looks so good, since you own so many motorola phones thinking of getting this 100 moto??? It's so enticing even though

Anonymous, 07 Jun 2010a thinner touch-screen phone from the almighty brand you ask?
samsung galaxy S 9000: 9.9 mm t... moreGuess which "almighty brand" has so many fans that they always argue with others....especially Apple & iphone.
That's the same company which refused to release any 3G touchscreen phone before iphone 3G, but AFTER iphone 3G was released, it released at least a dozen different touchscreen models, with none of them ever match the sales of iphone.
I have nothing against Samsung, it does make beautiful phones with good quality, even though I never use one. I just hate the almighty brand...aikon.

As long as a phone runs smoothly and get things done, most people care little less about all the hard specs.

My friend bought a 6111 when it was first released, she had to exchange the 3rd time before she got a "good" phone that didn't auto restart. And everytime she had to wait at least an hour just to reach the customer service rep to deal with her problem. Official receipt is also required, (as somehow this so called technologically advance company can't keep track the phones it sold in the area using IMEI) so if the phone ever has any problem, one better always carries the receipt around.
For Moto where I live, line is always short and one can drop off the phone in about 5 mins. The service center used to offer 1 hour service committment, where phone would be fixed within one hour, and of course, no receipt is required.
Waxx, 07 Jun 2010and i'm confused as to why phones are still being announced to have android 2.1 when 2.2 has comeSo when was XT720 developed? Yesterday? When the phone was developed, did they know anything about Android 2.2?
My Milestone was released with Android 2.0 upon release in Dec, then upgraded to 2.0.1 in late Jan. Around Mar it allowed upgrade to 2.1, and in mid-May it was upgraded to 2.1 "update", and soon it will be able to upgrade to 2.2.
Hence I speculate XT720 will be upgraded to 2.2 probably sometime around this summer.
If you want the worst, ever heard about a phone called X10? Released in April with Android 1.6 (yes! 1.6 in April 2010!), and it won't be upgraded to 2.1 (yes, 2.1, not 3.1!) by Q4 this year.
according to this, it is 720MHz, and 512MB RAM....
WOW. Motorola really wants my money.

thats cool though...
i'd also suggest finding someone with an android phone, using it and then comparing it to the n8 when it is released. My sis has the droid and she loves it, i like it too (hence why i bought it for her)... its just two completely different experiences. i find symbian and maemo menus better organized than android. i tried changing simple settings on my sisters phone and found it really difficult to navigate through the menus, but with the nokias you look at the options you know right away "this option has to be in this menu"...
and i'm confused as to why phones are still being announced to have android 2.1 when 2.2 has come

Waxx, 07 Jun 2010my warranty was not void yet either. but they replaced the front buttons piece witch nowhere n... morefirst you have to determine if its a software or hardware problem. if its software, then im sure changing the product code and updating the firmware would fix it. if its hardware, then its not worth fixing cause the phone is a century old. ive personally never had to deal with nokia's customer service cause i've never had a problem with them, but in the end its ur choice.
also consider, if you have a problem with a moto phone running android, its not moto you'll be dealing with unless its a hardware issue. and depending on the cirumstances, you might have to deal with the same sort of stuff with other phone companies.
best of luck with watever you choose to go with though.
