Sony's sensor gives better sharpness, Samy's gives better color I think.
Like some of you already concluded (correctly), its a win-win situation. The diferences (to my eye) are mostly in white balance, which can be easily corrected in future firmware updates. And concerning the question about why there are 2 different sensors, let me quote one smart man : "This is done as Samsung can't fab enough sensors... So it offloads some to Sony to meet with the demand. IMX260 is not an Exmor RS sensor, it's a Sony fabbed ISOCELL sensor."
it is better to choose the SONY imx260 model..for better focus Xperia flagship better than this.
most of them know that the SONY sensor are great nd SONY image processing technology is also great..many manufactures use sony sensor..
My g935f, exynos 8890 with Sony IMX260. So far I'm ecstatic with camera night shots fabulous.
I think Samsung's sensor is better, more sharper and warmer , Sony's sensor looks colder.
how many of you could say Samsung pictures are better? are all of you one person or all of you used the fu...g d..g? which one? it's clear that sony pictures are more attractive, sharper and metering is excellent. enough misgiving and atop it,sony is very better.can't understand and accept it?
GO TO OCULIST.
OR MAYBE YOU ARE HIRED BY SAMSUNG?
I have the g935f released in New zealand its the exynos 8890 with sony IMX 260
sony is far better because Samsung pictures have some blur in the edge of every colour from the first in dark red edges to the last in the palisade that is in front of the car. sony sensor is far better
Personally i think Samsung's camera photos in the left look better than Sony
sony is a few better, but if I want to judge with 2firest pictures sony is very better and Samsung has no edge of subject.....
and if want to see with expert eyes: who photographed professional know that sony is far better especially in "pictures depth" and the edge of subject.so this year Samsung s7 can't carries the best flagships camera.
AmanArora, 11 Mar 2016is this means that we will get sony sensor in snapdragon version and samsung sensor on exynos ... morePossible Combinations:
EXYNOS With Samsung Sensor
with Sony Sensor
SD-820 With Samsung Sensor
With Sony Sensor
We'll have to wait and see.
it depends on how you handle the phone to take pictures I guess? Sony and Samsung have good quality camera's on their phones.
I actually prefer the Samsung camera in all of the shots including the second shot that seems to be shot at a slightly different perspective. If this is ISOCELL, then it is extremely impressive, and I'm sure I would be shocked to see what BRITECELL was capable of.
Sony has a strong new competitor in the space!
