quite nice photos for a 5MP i guess. Thos i'm not really sure these pics were shot with a regular iphone 4g. Or must have been done by pro's in ideal circumstances and angles.
Must be some progress comparing to the older iphones.
But overall i still favour Desire, and i am not even gonna mention nokia ... gor X6 now and i'm as disappointed as i can get when it comes to phones... I must have got the cheapest of the cheapest model of the series. Its a month old phone and 3 weeks of the four .. my phone spent on my local phone servis. I only have my battery and processor that hasnt been changed yet. Everything else was broken, didnt work or i got dust under my touch screen in first 5 days of normal use in my room.

It is very good in sunlight, but now we need to see photos taken at night. Beceause the N8 is the insurrance to take good pictures in _every_ light condition.

Those saying the N8 has a noticeably better camera must have insanely good eyes. Admittedly the N8 does snap slightly clearer photo's (better noise reduction) however it is slightly over saturated. But does having an ever so slightly better camera make it a better phone? It's a phone not a camera. Look at every single other aspect, not on paper but on practical use.

Why do you all argue about "better than", "worse than", "fail" nonsense?
In comparison with the previous iPhone iteration these look far superior. Who cares about megapixel count when you probably only going to be viewing it on a screen which probably can only output 2560 x 1600 (4MP) at best?
And why constantly go on about how video calling is "so 5 years ago", the iPhone is a late adopter, sure, and the fact you can "FaceTime" only over Wi-Fi and to other iPhone 4 is pretty rubbish, but it's only a software update (free, I might add) away from being more ubiquitous and widespread.
Sigh, you can never read an article on Apple products without juvenile fanboys comparing it to everything else.

very good pictures for the first time on iPhone .. with a 5 mpix shooter, the details aren't so good but it's good.
but the samples produced by N8 are far better indeed, but that doesn't mean that iPhone 4's cam is bad, it's great also.

680mhz cpu does little work like txt,call, homescreens, keeping connections etc and is more than enough for small tasks!and n8 is better overall in features. The reason i stay away from phones is nt iphone itself but iSheep who are mentally retarded, childish. Having arguements a 5yr old would have like my fone is better than ur fone. Blah blah.
