The rear camera can't be ultrapixel, maybe duopixels just like s7 with 12mp and 1.4-1.55 pixel size. The front one can be ultrapixel, for example 5MP with 2.0 pixel sizes and OIS. Can't wait to see!
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2016Failing is not updating and not caring about people who buy their flagshipsi got 6.0.1 on my galaxy s6 yesterday.so far so good
Where did HTC find the money and resources to research for this revolutionary technology when they keep showing losses in their financial reports?
Mondo, 15 Mar 2016Just with that photo it blows all the leaks out of the water as being complete bollocks! It's the front and back camera not dual camera.
WTF is up with the tone of this article? So derisive. I'd expect that from the trolls on the comments section, but at the very least, be more professional on the actual blog post.
claudiu, 15 Mar 2016HTC camera is one of the worst. Not to mention ultrapixel tehnology Ultra pixel refers to larger pixels.
You're a fool of you think that is bad tech
I had the HTC One M 9+ & the camera wasn't that bad, but wasn't good in low light either. So far the other leaks on specs isn't anything spectacular, doing away with the front facing stereo speakers is a mistake, I hope the camera will surprise us.
LOL! HTC, you have to deliver a capable camera first, lecturing won't get you anywhere given your reputation for mobile cameras.

M7 was the best of the best! I still have one. This year I am going to upgrade, so consider m10 as first choice, but let's see what htc offers us
Thorn, 15 Mar 2016Ever owned a HTC M series mate ? Build quality is superior to all other phones. M7 was phone o... moreSuch superior build quality that my M7 unit had the infamous sensor issue rendering purple tinted pictures, with HTC refusing to acknowledge it as a hardware defect. Though it had the best design ever hand down imo, even non excluding edge phones.
They should've just re-used the M7 design while getting ride of the black bar, making sure they not to fuck up the sensor again and with these specs it would've been a winner. I'm still holding on to the hope something like this will happen someday..
I really hope HTC will not focused too much in camera.. performance is number 1 here. So hoping it will come with FHD display, sd820 and big battery.
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2016Not m9 though...I can't speak too much for m9. It was just sad.I own the M9+ and it is a great phone overall
Oh no need to convince me. Loved my M8 more than any other. Used samsung, Lg, htc all 3. In my opinion with respect to user experience HTC M series is way on top then comes LG then samsung. LGs main drawback is battery timing. HTC has bad screen to body ratio and average cam. Samsung has bad UI and too much laggy customization to stock android
