Im from the Philippines and the update is already available. Updated my 5530 and so far so good. Faster overall performance, slight improvement in music and improved UI. Im happy with the update :)

Pls how do i get the best of my Nokia5530? I have battery issues with the phone;after full charging it won't last overnight. It hangs and has mic issues too. If anything, Nokia gives the customers MORE for their money than other manufacturers. Besides 5230 and 5530, how many non-Nokia smartphones can you name that sell for just over 100 Euros? Bad-quality Samsung featurephones don't qualify, mind, as they are not smartphones.

Everyone of you will jump to update your 5530 but some will find nothing, this is due your region, e.g. uk is always last to get firmware upgrades, so you might have to wait few more weeks to get this update in your region.

arslan, 12 Jun 2010what is universal kinetic scroling??????????pls tell meit means that you can use kinetic scrolling throughout the whole ui. before only lists, gallery and activity menu had kinetic scrolling. now kinetic scrolling is available in menus (grid)too

nokia also targets people with minimal wages, i believe, so that is why they still make such phones
