Anonymous, 18 Apr 2016Just because ur getting the snapdragon version doesnt mean u have to act so cool about it. Eve... morewho said that exynos is better than snapdragon. always snapdragon processors are good they have own adreno graphics while other processors may not have own. these are made in america. now a days allmost all mobile are coming with sd chipset
hmm.. I think a lot power processor is coming for global version, about US version, samsung add some other feature that global version doesn't have on Galaxy S7 like SamsungPay, etc.
as we can see, customize cpu core Mongoose/M1 (exynos) is clocked up to 2600MHz and support ARM gpu (Mali T880 MP12
Why don't you play games instead of running applications? Main advantage of Qualcomm is Adreno 530 that destroys every current GPU by MaliT
sutton0028, 15 Jun 2016this debate is utterly laughable, both are top of the line, and fast. it is not like you're go... moreI wish you this was true. For S5 the exonys variant can hardly play any games but the snapdragon variant is quite good at them.
DannyH20030605, 03 Aug 2016U cant use samsung pay if ur planning on using the exynos 8890 in the us.Samsung Pay works on Exynos in the US (all Note 5 are Exynos)
KUNTA KINTE, 27 Mar 2016I started laughing with tears, when i read his fans Exynos nonsense , mumbo jumbo. AnTuTu test... moreGo watch phonebuff's video please. He tested the s7 edge exynos vs lg g5(sd820) vs htc 10(sd820) and the exynos outperformed both of them ;) Also another aspect that the exynos outperforms the sd820 is BATTERY life! The most important thing on a smartphone! Go search on youtube "exynos 8890 vs snapdragon 820 battery test. Its not that I dont like the snapdragon though... I like it since it has the adreno 530 gpu, although I play my games really smoothly on my exyonos 8890. Also the exynos has an additional 4 hours of watching video than the sd820. Oh, the exynos is also much cooler and all of that is proven to be true. Don't forget the ram management too. Sorry for taking your time and I honestly don't mean any harm so please don't bash me. I'm sorry if I made you angry too.
Samsung SD is Much Better then Exynos? is that what you are saying @^^
DannyH20030605, 03 Aug 2016U cant use samsung pay if ur planning on using the exynos 8890 in the us.Samsung pay works on the exynos chip set in canada

I'm looking at buying the S7 edge. I plan on using it in the States and also in Asia. Will there be a problem in the U.S. if I purchase a phone using Exynos 8890?
It's pretty known that Samsung will purposely underplay (lower clock speed) the 820 to make their Exynos look good :)
Macon, 20 Jun 2016Why does Samsung use Snapdragon in the US? Snapdragon is owned by Qualcomm which has a long re... moreLol no. That's not the reason. It has to do with the LTE modem. Different bands in US compared to the rest of the world. If it wasn't for that, Samsung would have ditched Qualcomm like they did for 2015 flagships.
Do people actually realize that Samsung fabricates both SD820 and Exynos 8890? And that Exynos 8890 is Samsung's own design while SD820 is Qualcomm's design? What do you think Samsung would do? Make SD820 better?
Quite a fierce battle here...let me summarize all this:
Users tend to support fully with whatever is available to them, whether it is available in their country or that they spent money buying it. It's just a psychological thing..perfectly normal, but just makes this battle sound useless. The exact same is happening between android vs apple, Samsung vs HTC, Windows vs Mac... people are mostly supporting what's available to them or which they spent money on. Funny when you think about it. Relatively few admit what they bought is worse.
Anonymous, 19 Apr 2016Commonsense....If Exynos is indeed a better chip, why did Samsung even waste time over SD. Why does Samsung use Snapdragon in the US? Snapdragon is owned by Qualcomm which has a long relationship with Samsung. I speculate that Snapdragon is used in the US in order to make nice with Qualcomm.
