AnonD-501554, 26 Mar 2016Are you from outer space? No one use Skype? for real? ahahahaha!ahahah I don't think hes from outer space but I think you are.
Potemkin, 26 Mar 2016300 million users.na matey not all windows users use skype, but I think the figure will be higher as I know iPhone and android users that use skype too.
I like skype being intergrasted into the windows 10 and windows mobile platforms, this new app looks like a departure from that. The real problem for me is the intergrated skype has no seettin=gs at all, you cant send video, pics or links via skype messaging either, now without cancelling your call by mistake cause that's what happens when you mess with the messaging side of built in skype. Skpe integrating is the way to go not these separate universal apps fpor skype but settings, like we had in the old skype need to be the minimum in the standard they bring out with skype, someth8ing microsoft failed to do yet again. By the way I cant even dial a number in my windows 10 built in skype desktop lol so I cant use my free 60 minutes. It doesn't get any more worst than that.
Everything is quite too big for desktop. Unless they will make compact view and make able to separate contact list from chats.
Sagittarius, 26 Mar 2016Well, I somewhat like it. It is not boring anymore. Hope they wont limit it on win10 but also ... more10 is smooth and fast
i clean installed my 7 before the upgrade to 10, 10 runs nice and smooth, lovely on 5 year old machines.
once upgraded, i installed the updates in windows update and defrag then it's fine.
you get updates for your applications in the store, but i turned mine off and went through them.
they won't bring it to win 7, there are a lot of people still using it, it is older now.
Time for some of us to move on.
I just noticed from the screenshots thats he is trying to call "Senpai" but with no answer XD
Senpai is not noticing him.
Skype needs to be able to send and receive sms to/from normal mobile phone numbers to be usable for me!
Lol, 26 Mar 2016Its called cross platform s/w but there is no mention of it being used/tested on Android !!! C... moreWhen they say cross-platform, they mean on all Window's based devices. That being Windows 10 based PC's, Windows 10 based tablets, Windows 10 based smartphones, and X-Box One. Other OS's will have their own version of the app, but it won't be on an all-encompassing multi-OS cross-platform basis, just strictly Windows based.
Fog, 26 Mar 2016Nobody use skypeAre you from outer space? No one use Skype? for real? ahahahaha!
Lol, 26 Mar 2016Its called cross platform s/w but there is no mention of it being used/tested on Android !!! C... moreSure, it means on various processor architectures used by *Microsoft Windows 10*. For example, ARM, Intel, AMD and so on. So cross platform here means different platforms on which the Windows 10 runs, not cross-OS.
Hope it helps.
Fog, 26 Mar 2016Nobody use skypejust because you don't use it, it doesn't mean nobody else use it.
Its called cross platform s/w but there is no mention of it being used/tested on Android !!! Can anyone throw more light on that?
Nobody use skype
Sagittarius, 26 Mar 2016Well, I somewhat like it. It is not boring anymore. Hope they wont limit it on win10 but also ... moreits on universal app platform . . so you tell me if win 7 have that.

Well, I somewhat like it. It is not boring anymore. Hope they wont limit it on win10 but also make it available for win7. I upgrade my win7 to win10 but win10 was so buggy that I reverted it back to win7.
