ifedith, 28 Mar 20161, we don't know what version of the mi5 was used, it could be the 32gb version that was used ... moreThe s7 used was a exynos version which btw was faster when reviewed with the s7 sd820 version. And sorry, the mi 5 was the 64gb version. Still waiting for the comparison of the pro version of the mi5 vs the s7

2, the 64gb and 32gb version comes with 3gb ram and it's being compared to the s7 with 4gb ram, that seems unfair
, but the pro version with 128gb with 4gb ram and the upgraded sd820, a comparison with this pro version and the s7 would be perfect match, and i see the mi5 winning the tie, check this link http://www.ibtimes.com/xiaomi-mi-5-vs-galaxy-s7-lg-g5-xiaomi-shatters-opponents-179566-antutu-score-2340003.

Just go check the MIUI Global forum and under local tab you'll see how many of them are online in india tab almost double or triple or more anytime day or night.
they wont launch Mi5 Pro, until they have sold enough stock in china

I have used redmi 1s, note, mi3,mi4,mi pad and trust me they do not feel snappy after 5 months of usage. the biggest culprit here is the UI itself. issues like memory management, force app closes, silly bugs makes the whole experience go down the gutter. when a miui update is released for a particular bug fix it introduces two more bugs. only good thing is that i paid half the price for a powerful hardware. now after moving to nexus 6p i have realised that sometimes price tags don't lie.
Should i believe a Chinese phone who sends my phone data back to Chinese server.. What about the security of my data... I guess this phone is good for peoples not checking emails, doing bank transactions or any other sensitive thing on there phones other than that phone is good with specs.. But a chinese phone is not good for me.. may be for others.. but not for me..

Also, everyone is comparing the mi 5 to s7 because they both share the same chip set. SD820?
And people claim that the s7 is too expensive while mi 5 and s7 share the same chip? And why don't we compare it now?
You just proved my point, half the price, half the speed too. LMAO.
Please release Mi 2 also...I have been waiting for that phone for so many years...
Keithlawyter, 28 Mar 2016This video basically just shows how SLOW the xiaomi mi 5 is.
https://youtu.be/vR2zq5I3i4g1. MIUI gets frequent updates and it is not the first time they do this. The UX get better over time in a few weeks. Checkout any Xiaomi review from C4ETech if you don't believe me.
2. You are trying to compare it with a phone priced more than double the Mi 5.
this phone is painfully slow for some weird reason, in fact its just as fast as the redmi note3 (SD650) OR SLOWER SOMETIMES..............o_O!!!!!! wth???????
Waiting for details to spill, like online seller, price and color, version etc.?
Pl. keep us posted dear gsm👍🏽

Indian population is 5 times than us but the sold phones are less than 4 times means by comparison Indonesia have better market percentages (even we have that stupid restrictions). We also have great enthusiasm toward Xiaomi. Well, let's wait until that corrupted governments died.

The real reason because there were a COLLUSION in Indonesia. The bribed government prevent other brand to sell the phone in Indonesia.
They use a new law they just made up. Which FORCE the phone maker to build the phone in Indonesia. Which resulting only a couple of big brand able to sell it in Indonesia, and all the small one can't enter the market... BTW this is AGAINST WTO. Indonesia under current government is VERY CORRUPTED.
