I didn't... moreThere is no company that likes protruding cameras, if it still has one these days, that's a good sign for image quality. It's easy to make a flat camera, but only easy if you don't care about image quality that much. So for me that's a good sign that they did not sacrifice optics for the looks
So much confusion regarding display tech from one day to the next... LCD or AMOLED? If its the latter then I just found my new phone... otherwise just another M with a lacking display for black tones.
No matter the amount of times and the number of faces HTC shows its upcoming 10, the rumored estimated retail is still a facepalm
Ritzie, 31 Mar 2016Just out of curiousity, why don't you use a plastic cover case? I'm 100% sure there are good ... moreIt could be one option, yes - I just switched to a better phone which isn't completely aluminum-made. Some covers make the phone unnecessary big or feel stupid on hand, at least that happened with my old Galaxy S4.
I would choose htc just for the sense.... They showed even Android with custom skin can be an extremely fluid. Added to that we have one of the best audio and of course a beautiful design.

I'm 100% sure there are good shockproof/waterproof or battery cases out there for HTC.
If the issue is just the aluminum body alone, why not use a cover case?

I live in a cold Nordic country and during freezing winter days the phone gave me small electric shocks every time I picked it up from a wooden table. :/ That's why I refuse to buy any phone like M8, it's just way too uncomfortable for me. But I do understand why most people liked it, though - solid build quality was there.

I didn't like the M8 or M9, so I was hoping on the HTC 10 BUT this?
The back looks almost the same I agree but the 10 is worse because the camera is sticking out of the body which makes it impossible to use it on a table (I use it on the table for 8 hours in the office.... -.- )
They removed the front facing speakers and the overall design looks a lot like a fusion from the new iPhone and the new Samsung. HTC y u do this?
The M7 was (in my opinion) the best phone on the market back then... perfect design, perfect UI, nice front facing speakers.
They could just recycle the M7 with better hardware and better camera and I would be fine
Anonymous, 30 Mar 2016Actually the 10 looks better, M8 wasn't even that good-looking phone - too big for the screen ... moreTrue the bezels were big but I loved the material they used, the symmetrical speakers, the curvature. What they did was to contract an external designer and it really paid off. It seems that they are doing the design in-house again and unfortunately it shows.
AnonD-444106, 30 Mar 2016I think this design will help HTC and so many people will love it. Every thng is OK about this... moreExcept for the fact that I have an HTC M7 which has an almost identical back.. I want to update to the HTC 10.. but if it looks the same, but misses the dual-front facing speakers.. why would I? Why would I not pick for the Samsung S7? I'm just confused..
A blend of the M series and A9 - excellent.
To be honest the older M series was nice but wasn't keen on the way the front casing changed near the speakers and the sharper edges. The stunning A9 has 1 casing all up the front and super smooth edges. Combine the 2 and with latest software an Boom speakers which the 10 definitely has (not that I care for those) add in bevelled edges and I think we have a super solid very smart and sexy phone.
