New iPhone 4 camera test reveals impressive pictures and video Comments

I like the way iPhone4 evolved, the camera seems significantly better than before, the resolution is greatly improved, it has some type of multi-tasking (not the real one but pretty good) ... but Nokia N8 is just better in some ways I am interested in (camera - bigger sensor plus xenon, more features like widgets, HDMI, radio, USB OTG, free GPS, FM Transmitter and a software which allows more control over the phone - files, more types of connections, real multi-tasking, etc). iPhone is better looking, has an easier to use and more fluid interface and has quite a lot of applications. So each has it's good parts. I will go for the N8, it offers more for the price (60% of the iPhone price and has many features the iPhone doesn't have and the most important it is not so strictly "controlled" by the manufacturer - the main weak point compared with the iPhone, except the number of applications available, is the resolution of the screen). Both phones are good, each one can choose their favorite.

Those samples apple pulled are so no from the iphone they are from a digicam or dslr it's too noticable

Just look at the unit sales of the iphone4 people, and get your cue from that. It's going to be crazy this Thursday at Apple stores. It would be another historical and record breaking release day in the mobile phone industry. And oh, nokia fanboys will again of course come out with their best (yet lamest) excuse their puny brains could ever come up with, and say that Apple hired people to fall in line outside Apple stores and buy the iphone4. Hahahaha.

By all means, this camera should be as good as the N95 one, seeing as optics have improved since it was released.
5mp is the bottom end now for cameraphones, and is enough for any casual user. They just need to improve hardware rather than pushing for more mp. 12 mp is ridiculous for a phone. Unless it's a dedicated device.

Ha... moreWell, its your loss, I've been out of Samsung handsets since the D900, which put everything else out there to shame in its days and for many months after. Software will only take you as far as your hardware can push. An apple NEVER uses latest tech on their phones, Samsung on the other hand has introduced the lightest, slimmest, best LCD's, largest capacity of times out the door as the tech was avaliable...which makes sense since they build and provide the world most of the phone's components. Sure software can be frustrating even more when they are supposed to be "smart" phones, but their hardware is always more advanced than apple's. I'had the best experience ever with D900 as a non smartphone era and am looking forward to Samsung reclaiming the top with the Galaxy S.
As galaxy s has android and such good hardware it will popular (after all AT&T will have its exact hardware as i897 Captivate), it will be rooted fast and we will not have to rely on Samsung for updates/upgrades. Don't worry, Samsung won't miss you, but this time you will certainly miss them, literally ;) .

These sample pictures have the same quality of pictures from the ones from Apple. Even the reviewer has stated that. anyone that says something bad about iphone it doesnt have it and he is jelous. I have 3gs and i had a c905 and camera in a 3gs is way better than c905. In c905 the colors are faded but iphone have a beautiful piczure with real colors. i dont wanna anithing else than this iphone. IPHONE RULEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Iphone 4.0 OS is very good by the way. I'm using it now, and it's SO fast and responsive. No crashes (and I doubt that there will ever be).
No bad for a new version of an OS. Many of the new features (for the iphone before any fanboy attacks) are subtle, but
