I jumped on Android and Symbian the moment they released some good stuff. Now I'm getting on Wp7. I don't need a "good enough" OS. I need a "GOOD!" OS.

My friends take it easy. WM7 phone will have only 3 buttons,
they are SEARCH, HOME AND BACK.
It is so simple to understand.

Microsoft must begin to think about the return of 6 series! 6.1 was disappointing but 6.5 is good enough. They have to use 6.5 platform and with some good upgrades WinMo will manage to stay in the game.

The picture itself is a fake. You can see that it has been cut from somewhere else (the empty space around the phone is obviously darker than the rest of the empty space) and it's also aligned wrongly. Which makes me doubt whether or not the rest isn't a fake.

Whats the point of this ?
WM has benn a rock in the shoe from the start, buy this phone and get no updates of firmware...
Buying an HTC today simply is not worth it, more expensive and less equiped then competition ...
Lets see if Mozaert fixes that, or sunk the boat even further...

WP7 SUCKS!!! I've used it at MWC and it it as terrible as it looks. I cannot believe that some of you are excited about not being able to read all the text unless you scroll over. The ONLY decent thing about WP7 is the XBox integration, other than that, WP7 is a Big pile of Dog Poop. WM6.5 is better than WP7 by far and that is sad.

To everyone thinking this is REAL ITS NOT, if you read on other sites they say its just a MOCK UP by TELSTRA not the actual device.

Goto the source that has a bigger picture, you can clearly see WinPo7 slapped top of Sense, this just just 2 seconds work for the roadmap, i mean why bother doing a good job just for a internal memo.

                        Can't wait for WinPo7

                        Later!

Firstly, I'm from Aus and i doubt this is REAL, before you start squaring up to blast me verbally, read the "Windows Phone 7 Minimum Hardware Requirements" or let me tell it to you in 1 sentence, it only uses phones with 3 buttons "Back", "Home" and "Search".

The phone you are looking at is clearly a HTC Desire with Windows Phone 7 running on it, i dunno how far this is true as i haven't seen this on ANY Telstra Advert here in Adelaide, Australia !

But hey Telstra are a CrAzY Bunch, anything goes for em...LOL

                                  WP7 - who cares.

MS even themselves admit it'll take 5 years for them to take WP to where they want it to be.

It'll be a half-baked and feature-poor platform, with very little software offering - sold to consumers with a new style UI that "wows" but is completely unproven in real-world day-to-day use.

And knowing MS, it's probably the worst battery sucker amongst all the mobile OSes.

WP7 will be a success. People like me have been waiting for it because

                                        a) it's not an iphone (I already have one, so not getting a 4th gen) and

                                        b) it's not android (solid performing OS, but looks a little amateurish. Apps aren't as good as apples)

                                        c) minimum specs mean ALL WP7 handsets will be beasts (android handsets really have no need to be as powerful)

I think this OS will be iphones main rival when it's released, android is too fragmented.
