AnonD-1825, 04 Apr 2016"people are starting to realise how finished apple is after years of milking loyal customers" ... moreHow doe sit benefit you that iPhones are the best selling phones? Last time I checked Samsung sold more phones than Apple. So get your facts straight.
- old technologies
- too closed ecosystem
- new release of ios is always buggy
- it is just a phone
- most people cant learn to be an ios developer. because they must own a mac desktop/laptop to do that.
Linas, 05 Apr 2016I would strongly disagree. I am using several devices on daily base. Which includes 4 Android ... moreBuying a tablet for productivity makes you a joke, sorry.
Here's a productive machine, with better specs than any surface pro at half the cost:
Stop being such Microsoft apologists. There is nothing that a surface pro does that a proper laptop doesn't do it better.
Also it can't compete with tablets, desktop apps are a joke when used by touch and MS store apps are an even greater joke.
Thankfully sales prove me right, and geeks are once again wrong. The surface pro in the store next door is like new, nobody bothers to check it, they change their ipads every two months due to the wear and tear of customers fiddling with them.
Microsoft is a tasteless company, they can't even copy properly, they don't get it...
They should lower the price and include SD card expansion, im sure it kick on sales.
I think apple going to fall down in sales more than that because they trying to control their customers to not using other brand but didn't last, and also lots of clients cannot afford to jump from 16GB IPhone to 64GB and pay extra $$$.
we are buying a mobile phone nothing else
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2016Surface sells attrocioucly. Microsoft changed nothing, it's a gimmick company. If they did not... moreI would strongly disagree. I am using several devices on daily base. Which includes 4 Android tablets and at least 6 ipads for a testing purposes and can compare that with few windows based tablets (HP, Asus) and Surfaces (have 2, 3 and 4 non-pros) is with little doubt the best convertible, clearly enough no tablet matches the productivity you can get on it. The only issue I can see with Surface is that MS is trying to market it as a premium product (especially evident with Surface book) and therefore price is way too much. As the devices are provided by the company I have no issue with them, but probably wouldn't pay the price myself. BUT.. here we need to bare in mind that ipads are over prices as well, not as good quality, nor as productive... so in all aspects Surface over ipad.

Hahaha I honestly can't tell if you're being serious or not. If you are, you obviously have never read anything even remotely credible. You probably read The Verge. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're just terrible at sarcasm rather than just being quite ignorant. Have a good day.
AnonD-500788, 05 Apr 2016Are you feeling okay? Cus all you just wrote is baseless, and without any facts whatsoever. T... moreYour comment is one of the worst. Not only it's baseless to call mine baseless, all you need to do is glance the surface sales vs ipad sales. Ipad sales are dwindling because people have no reason to buy new ones each year, but when they do buy one, they buy an ipad not a fing surface.
The surface crowd are laptop people who want to buy a new more portable laptop. That's what you call innovation, everybody knows that surface line is going bust by 2020, read some sales reports, they are already decelerating... of course fan boys don't understand numbers but that's OK, I made my point.
Jobs passed away and the company started to sink slowly. I guess that's what's going to happen right now too. Innovation is truly absent these days with Apple, only regurgitated products that are slowly losing interest. Give it a couple of years, and Apple will be the new Nokia that was once a true market leader as well.

AnonD-477406, 04 Apr 2016I don't see why this is a big deal. Apple isn't going to fall of the face of the earth because... moreSurface sells attrocioucly. Microsoft changed nothing, it's a gimmick company. If they did not have the Windows PC monopoly they would be bust years ago.
Surface line can't even touch the dwindling ipad sales (talking of success). The surface line is only successful in the minds of MS fan boys. To the rest of us and the financial analysts it's business as usual, a Mediocre attempt from Microsoft. It's better than their atrocious phones, but still Mediocre. As jobs said: "Microsoft has no taste"
Looks like they are becoming Nokia, Motorolla, IBM.....thinking they are too big to fail....The story repeating by itself....Descend may be slow but once the momentum catches up.....it is a bottomless pit
AnonD-124236, 05 Apr 2016I think the social climbers which are the biggest customers of Apple, starts to realize that i... moreyes. it is just a phone. not more than a messaging and a calling machine.
we can buy cheaper droids to do that.
When there is no competition and your a monopoly you stand to lose it all.
Apple can't continue to rehash, resize and follow the 8 ball that is Android.
Eventually, users of all denominations will see this and resort to low cost maximum productivity phones.
