This is a screwed up messenger compared to ... moretrue, just that Telegram encryption is not standard, which can(i'm not saying it does) could be decoded by 3rd party(or Telegram itself) providing the proprietary algorithm supports it
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2016All terrorists will use it now ...realistically there's more than one way to skin a cat. They could use a multitude of different ways to connect to each other.
now this is easy for them to shortlist the sensitive messages !!!! haha
I don't believe in this end-to-end encryption.First, evil ppl would abuse this. Second, who in their right mind would send sensitive info through a messenger app!?
what about the older versions of whatsapp?
was, all the data shared, monitored or being viewed by employees of whatsapp or anyone else??

It is too dangerous to have this kind of encryption. out of one billion users there should be many threat in coming days and Whatsapp is leading them with the help of Facebook and who elese!! Maybe the country these companies belonging to
There will be real time pattern recognition by facebook as annonced hence governments will take real-time massage streams from facebook for matching select keywords from database to highlight and mark the terrorists unofficially
The biggest support for terrorist came from whatsapp.
Anonymous1: hey dude where do you want me to bomb tomorrow
Anonymous2: as you wish bro or let me send you the exact location so we dont miss the fun.
How many sick people out of 1 billion using whatsapp.
Now I know why facebook payed such an amount for chatting company.
There is a disadvantage for this end-to-end encryption thing, just for example what happened in FBI vs. Apple Inc. the FBI demands on Apple to unlock the terrorist's iPhone in order for them to get all the information and data stored on the device so that they can get evidence and some other stuffs. If WhatsApp has the end-to-end encryption thing which is stated there that all the messages and voice communications will not be stored on their servers it is a big disadvantage for the government or the victim to get the information on the suspect's phone.
AFAIK Encryption needs a "key", so what is the key gonna be in this case?
For instance, in iPhones the 4 digit password is used as the encryption key, here what are they gonna use?
Still can't do half the things that Telegram does. This is a screwed up messenger compared to the latter.
hoooo whoose whatsapp acoount is that
