Deep space bar, 26 Jun 2010I honestly think apple planned the bad reception thing just to sell those bumpers . Cause if y... moreDo you mean Apple exploited the iPhone 4's own flaw and created these bumpers to further generate money? Genius move, Apple. :P
Lets see. Holding the phone the right way, making a call and watching the reception bars. Apple did not lie about the multitasking part.
I really don't get why this is a big deal. I have 5 bars right now on my iphone4. It works just fine. Like Steve said, just don't grip on that small area. It's a small price you have to pay in getting more bars, because honestly, my iphone4 gets more bars than my 3gs. Another option would be to get a case, which a lot of people do anyway.
I honestly think apple planned the bad reception thing just to sell those bumpers . Cause if you noticed that's the ONLY reason their there . Stevie j you are one sick soul
[deleted post]Maybe cause they weren't holding it 90% of the time they reviewed it lol
just buy the motorola milestone (droid);) and you won't have any problems, or the new Droid X which still has not made news in gsmarena.com, I'm surprised
I use Nokia/Sony/HTC/Apple/N1 like to try them out just to see what works and what does not. iPhone4 tops the list. It has better reception compare to its previous model and great features. Android 2.2 once released hope will top the list, but so far no updates at least in this ares on 2.2. They have a tough job updading their customer base and it shows.
i have tried holding it all the ways in your photos it does not have any effect on my reception ..vodafone number one
"Just avoid holding it that way." AMAAAAAAZING!!!!.
i like iphone. but this is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!
ammm..how much for this phome????? i hope raining demands for this fXXX company.... its HUUGE expensive with FATAL errors.
"Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance.......This is a fact of life for every wireless phone"
WTF name one mobile phone that loses all bars when u hold it in any position. this is very poor build quality what an embarrassing problem i was really looking forward to this phone i just hope they fix this problem in the white model when it's available @ mid July
[deleted post]And Stephen Fry has said that if he had to own one phone, he would throw away his Blackberry and Desire. LOL
michael tawroginski, 26 Jun 2010Hi everyone,i even don use Iphone, its rubbish,me and all of the family members use BlackBerry ... moreBlackberry so good that the shares went down 9% today because of the Iphone competition, competition from
" rubbish " like you say , but the reality is quite different, talk is cheap !
Aha! That's the reason why Steve failed to demo FaceTime during launching...WiFi and line signal problems? or Signal only...? Can someone confirm? I ownder what is the SARS for iP4.
Note : he put both phones on the rostrum...
Well guys, this is just the right phone for me! Now I can hold the phone with my left hook (I hear it's very scratch-resistant!!!) and change to the right for making calls... Great stuff!
[deleted post]Sorry trolls it is not a problem, from the NYT :
Even Brian Lam, Gizmodo’s editorial director, saw an upside to the iPhone 4, antenna problems and all. “We are paying attention to the antenna issue because it could be a big deal,” he said.
But Mr. Lam said that for years, he had not been able to use older iPhones to make calls from his home. That changed on Thursday, after he bought an iPhone 4. “I have made three hours of calls today,” he said.
Losing signal when holding the iphone with your right hand! Theres an app for that!
Yeah right this times it seems like apple is screwed. But i wonder why they didn't put the antena somewhere else??like on the right top corner??
I hope they fix it. It is a BIG problem.
