Read any manual. It gives instructions to users on how to optimize the use of a device. If you can't deal with it, don't buy it. That's a fact of life.

what's this? Steve Jobs had failed to "perfect" his "perfect" phone by forgetting that the foremost function of a phone is for calling, and that would require a reliable antenna for better reception? How lame could that be? All the iphone4 ads contradict his "latest instructions" on how to hold the iphone. Is there really such a thing as being mindfully (SUPER) cautious on holding your phone the "right way" when you're calling? I've had 19 phones up to date, and reception has never been a problem whether i use it with my left or right hand, even if i cover the antenna area.. Steve Jobs forgot the BASICS..

On the good side of things. The iphone4's screen is truly amazing. At times, it looks 3d like almost. Touch responsiveness has even improved. It's even faster than the 3gs. Pictures look great that you really don't need a standalone camera. And of course, video recording is an awesome treat on the iphone. And that is why people still lined up outside Apple stores for their iphone. Yes, it has some issues, but then, which phone doesn't?

I don't why why people are complaining so much. You ifans want a slim fashionable design which means very little room for antennas and such. Doesn't Apple let you rotate your screen 360°? JUST HOLD YOUR IPHONE UPSIDE DOWN just like I do with my Nexus One (since it has a weak radio antenna)

I was looking at the instructions for my Nokia just now, and guess what?
It had a section on how to hold your phone, bwahahahaaaaa!
On a more serious note. Move the antenna Apple, AT&T customers already have a crappy signal as it is!

A simple,standar d,basic,n0rmal problem was being on the handphone it launched within 49 hours..
Im so wondering that why appl3 always has the problem with connectivity..no Bluetooth transfer..video call only WiFi..itunes cable..now is antenna lin3 problem..
The most Important is..appl3 never "connect" with their cust0m3r ever..
Juz come into NOKIA guys..

The iphone4 is not a perfect phone. Just like any other devices, we do behave a certain way to make it work for us. And it really is not a big deal. Example, when I had my n95. I noticed that when its internal memory reached halfway, it starts to lag so bad when you load photos. So to keep it running decently, I make sure I don't store too many photos in it. It's a fact of life as Steve said it, and we'llmjust have to deal with it because no one can ever create a perfect phone no matter how hard they try.

Had my eye on this one as have used each iPhone...Sold my 3gs a few months back...seems like i will have to buy 3gs again...Sorry iPhone 4.....No way i am getting you like this

And now Steve Jobs even want to controll how you can hold your phone. This must be something new and revolutionary and it must also be awesome.
And not only that, the glass on the iPhone 4 almost breaks by just looking at the phone.
I recommend you to not take your iPhone 4 with you to an opera house lol.

i was seriously considering on getting the iphone 4, i have no "favourite" manufacturers(ive owned sony ericsson, nokia, htc, blackberry, iphone 3GS), i see a cool phone im willing to give it a try. But cmon Apple... clearly this a design flaw just admit it and apologize, give an announcement whether theres a fix for future/current units or even atleast include a free bumper as a temp fix.. but nope their answer is "you're holding it the wrong way" and "buy a bumper and that will fix it"(are you friggin kidding me? you want us to pay $29 for that thing when its clearly Apples fault?(i guess in their minds its "if you buy our phones its your problem". they sure love their customers.

i think steve jobs is really rude...i mean in an email of complaints he just replied his customers by saying((its a non-issue)) as if they dunno anything about a fone...he is just arrogant and same goes when he was asked about the retina display compared to samsung's galaxy s... he said that it beats the amoled screen but he cant admit the advantages of the super amoled over his retina display and he disclosed his sentence saying that retina display is the best display in the world...wtf!!!does he know wht a fact means??and wht a hype and dreaming means??? this guy is gay as fuked!!!!
