Apple is a handist!
4 is an unlucky number in the mobile phone world. Nokia, SE, Samsung, Motorola, etc., never uses "4" in their mobile units' name and OS versions. Apple did'nt know this.
haha! I'm psychic! I have no problem holding the iph-our!
St3ve j0b saying is right..
"Th¡s is normal basic problem with every communicated device"(same meaning)
But Im very sympathism to the iphone fan..
A 'BASIC' problem should not have on a new phone within 2days it released..
Antenna line acceptable is the most standard for a handphone/mobile..
U know what im talking about guys..
the only thing wrong is the phone it self.......may be steve jobs should take the iphone and shove it down the place where the sun never shines..............
T0tally a FUNNY topic I never see before..
I think this maybe the first new to teach people how to hold their phone..
You know guys..or iphone fan..
I can use my 1100i and chat with fr!end inverse style..no antenna link down problem at all..lol
[deleted post]Totally agree...
This responses from Apple especially Steve Job pisses me off.
iHaters finally get a strong case to bash iPhone.
Anyway, Apple really sucks in handling this issue.
First time I saw the iPhone 4's antena, I was thinking that bad reciption issue could be solved, but I am wrong. This is really unexpected!
Some reports saying that even though signal shown weak, the speed is still ok and no drop call, but again no solid proof.
Apple, better come out with a good solution or they will be doomed. Then I might use a normal phone again or try Andriod.
are these just rumors or the truth?
I got my first fone september 1998 and i never even thought about reception issues you got full/medium/weak or no signal throught the country not stood in the same spot...That was 12 yrs ago..So Apple has no excuse when 12 yrs ago i held my fone how it felt comfortable not via an instruction book ???? It is PHONE foremost and it cant do the basics right ..Any how i know why its bothers me even tho i never have or will own an i-phone,,its cause its chucked in my face all the time and fave smartfone essentials mag has let the i-thing into it when in whsmith there are lots of books for i-thingy why does it have to invade the last i-thingy free magazine left,,,also its sold as the best ultimate fone so why does it cause problems and why do they need a complaints or question section in my fave mag if is so perfect after all.."Pulls mature angry face"
I'm right-handed, meaning I always hold my phone in my left hand so I can type with my right hand. I couldn't do it any other way so, if the photos above are to be believed, the iPhone4 is not for RIGHT-HANDED people, the majority of the population!
I don't own one, or intend to own one by the way.
totally wrong....its must have been considered in the design and not just crap reasoning that your hand or something blocks the signal.
apple is not successfully developing a phone
they were stealing an Intellectual Property from various company.
They were using other company hard earn idea for them.
And apple going down.
And for those haters who constantly post in here. Get a life. You guys obviously are not getting the iphone, so why do you guys even bother with it here? All of us have our own different issues that we deal with on our phones. Some laggy OS, some freezing up, some unresponsive screens, some poor legibility ourdoors, some poor web browsing experience, some poor build. So yes, no phone is perfect no matter how hard they try to make it perfect for their users. Nothing wrong with bringing it up, but there's certainly something wrong with hating it as if you have a perfect device in your hands.
yeah right, it's normal isn't it? LoL, it's normal if it's placed on the areas that user would most likely not touching during holding their phone, and this is of course unintentional right, of course it is, according to all Apple fans around the world :D
I love my new iphone. And just like when you love someone, you'll learn to change your ways to make things work, and I did. It's really not a big deal. Like Apple said. It's a fact of life with any devices. If it's not on the bottom left of your phone, it would be somewhere else. Like Steve said, if you can't avoid covering that part of your phone, you can always buy those bumpers, or, get something else. I choose to adjust the way I hold the phone, and it works just fine. I am not going to sacrifice the other great qualities of the iphone just for that 1 quibble.
