Looks promising. Photography is not really important to me, but I'd buy it for the compactness(especially narrowness) alone. Really put the Iphone 6S to shame.
However, need to wait for review to check performance, as previous Kirin generations couldn't hold a candle to the other CPU manufacturers
Don't think so, as they will be the real prices of sales. They have no logic. We'll see when going out really for sale by Huawei. Otherwise, they are exceptional phones. Everyone's taste.

pika2000, 06 Apr 2016Wow, Huawei is really pushing those prices. Who wants to spend that much money for a Huawei? S... morePeople that are sick and tired of Samsung and Apple iPhones, that's who, like i myself, I could ask the same question but a little different, who would spend so much money on a Samsung. Well people that think its the best when its not, its just an overhyped ununique phone maker, Huawei is different.
byu1, 06 Apr 2016what happened? 5.2 inch is stunning large? compare to 4 inch iPhone yes. Rumored 6 inch bec... morepretty sure both cameras works together, with b/w sensor providing better low light intensity readings and stitching that into the colour photo so you get a cleaner image
I really like Huawei P9 Plus! 1st time I so like Huawei phone, after convert it is RM 3309.00 Oops!
The LEICA is the selling point here! Off course need to see review 1st.
Nishru, 06 Apr 2016Nice. Very attractive price for the "standard" model, Plus will drop down to 500 in no time. A... moreYes, we shouldn't reach the conclusion already. It would be alright even if Huawei gave up on OIS but then it should be remarkable in other aspects of picture quality. I hope Leica lens would produce color accurate and sharp quality images. Otherwise we already have S7 and G5.
w.e.n.t.e, 06 Apr 2016ask LG how were they able to make G5 with OIS & with dual camera. Its not the same thing.... -_-
pankos, 06 Apr 2016When ever i see Huawei my brain reads it as Hawaii..lol :)Thats how i used to call the brand 5 years back.. Lol
Series P9 it will certainly be the re-beginning of a success story for HUAWEI.
So disappointed, have been waiting for this phone to come out so I can buy it, was hoping the second lens would be something like an 85mm angle of view for portraiture, etc. But both the lenses have the same wide angle of view at 27mm and the phone is really expensive. Feeling a bit put off Huawei now.
Fantastic! If it works as it is supposed to do, then it will be the first smartphone that makes DSLR-like Bokeh possible, fantastic.
w.e.n.t.e, 06 Apr 2016ask LG how were they able to make G5 with OIS & with dual camera.does LG have a duoscopic camera?? i dont think so
Wow, Huawei is really pushing those prices. Who wants to spend that much money for a Huawei? Selling your stuff at higher prices doesn't automatically push your brand upward.
w.e.n.t.e, 06 Apr 2016ask LG how were they able to make G5 with OIS & with dual camera.LG's dual camera setup is different from this. P9 depends on both the cameras to take pictures and LG only uses one at a time.
In terms of price, personally, i do not believe that Huawei will practice such offer, sale. This are circulated at this time, they are required to "retailers".
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2016we want the p9 maxTHIS THIS THIS!
We want a 6.5in p9 max, not this 'plus' nonsense.
No OIS, thanks, but no thanks. OIS is essential especially in mobile photography. Also the aperture is quite high (2.2) compared to the competition (1.7). Second lens won't help if your hands shake. Or if you want to record a steady video. Pity there are companies that forget about this crucial feature in their flagship devices but just because of this I'm not interested in this phone, which is pity because overall it's quite a good device. Waiting for the HTC 10 announcement now.
