AnonD-396766, 08 Apr 2016if you said P9 lacks waterproofing or OIS i will respectfully agree but saying P9 lacks 4K rec... moreCompletely agree to your point. 4k recording is not a must as 80-90% of the uses will not use it on a daily basis. Also given the price point of the P9 our here in Dubai, it has to be one of the best phone to go for. The 32gb 3gb ram cost around AED 1699 (USD 460/-)Vs Samsung s7 & HTC 10 which is around AED 2399 (USD 655/-).
I just wish the P9 supported rapid or quick charging :(

mir, 08 Apr 2016Your beloved Huawei P9 can't even do 4K recording and you're talking about endurance. Get real.if you said P9 lacks waterproofing or OIS i will respectfully agree but saying P9 lacks 4K recording i will respectfully disagree, could you name a situation were 4K recording is a must?
I wish Huawei will use a powerful gpu next time :( they're progressing real good however their graphic prowess is still not always on par with the one they are competing :(
This is indeed a good phone! So now im getting confuse between the selection on mate 8 or p9 ! The P9 's camera attracting me the most!

That is the focus of Kirin chipset.. It is likely that this P9 will score highly too.. They have the highest processing power with adequate graphics.. Look at LG G5 miserable battery life with SD820.. If you want to play serious games get a console/pc.. Phones should last more than 2 days

the software isn't finalized yet besides speed snap isn't that important & can be affected by many things one of them is the software, on the other hand endurance is important what good a device for when it scores high for less than 30 minutes test then lag the rest of the day IMO.
From these tests, it is clear, P9 not cope to LG and Samsung, Why not use Snapdragon 820 processor, the folks at Huawei, remains a mystery.
MAGIC EVER, 07 Apr 2016P9, a phone call of middle-class, but pretensions of top level. Huawei had to use Snapdragon c... moreWhy? So it can eat the battery faster? You rely too much on those numbers from benchmarks. I bet you wouldn't even see the difference if you would use both phones beside each other.
I'm good with that. It'll be more than enough to satisfy my needs. Now waiting for those reviews to roll out.
Novage , 07 Apr 2016In game this is the same. Forget these shitty benchmark But benchmarks helps to get an idea of what to expect from a certain device. The problem is that people set too much store for benchmarks, which are only theoretical measurements of a device's performance.
I think it will be different result on the P9 Plus version, it's insane. P9 more cheaper than the P9+
AnonD-294135, 07 Apr 2016why do the Chinese manufactures use such good CPU cores, but such terrible GPU's.
to me grap... moreIn fact, the Mali that comes with the Kirin 955 is as good as the Adreno 510 in SD650/652. You can have good gaming experience in a 1080p screen with it. I think this is Goldilocks thing: not so much, not so little... everything just right (as far as GPU is concerned).
The fact that it doesn' match the Mali-T880MP12 or Adreno 530 is another thing entirely.
Anonymous, 07 Apr 2016price will fall very quickly if HTC 10 will have a better camera. It won't have a better cameras
