wow how creative they are! just like Apple change the display to OLED, they are so clever and creative! it must be the best phone in the weird.
All well and good, I like the symmetry this keeps but wouldn't it be better around the lens as ring flashes are in high-end cameras? The idea is you don't end up with directional lighting in relation to the lens... Also most LEDs get quite warm, could potentially interfere with the focusing?
rakesh0991, 10 Apr 2016not only nokia, old sony ericsson cybershot series also had xenon flash...don't know what is t... morexenon flash requires a thick module hence that smartphone has got to be greater than 11 mm in thickness.
the last smartphone with xenon flash i know was a motorola. and it had that odd bulge around that area.
Hi, 09 Apr 2016are you the engineer? No, just been other leaks since the 5.7 inch exynos rumour and some meizu users in china got notification to their phones saying 5.2 inch display, meditek cpu etc.
to those saying 10 leds are overkill and they should have gone with xenon, well it doesn't have to all fire all the time, the camera module could sense the ambient lighting and fire as many as needed. also a xenon flash would still be bulkier and sap too much power, not to mention that they generally need a "charge-up" time before firing.
Maybe because xenon add a of "bulkiness" and also they are saps a lot of battery power....
Anonymous, 09 Apr 2016nokia did xenon flash years back and they were great.not only nokia, old sony ericsson cybershot series also had xenon flash...don't know what is the problem to use xenon flash these days.
Meizu knows how to make their advertising. More remains to see how many from rumors come true.
Yup, current GSM Arena page for Meizu Pro 6 is incorrent, because of bad leaks.
Meizu Pro 6 with known correct specs:
Way off, this is completely wrong it is not going to be big at all. there was already a leak of the phone next to the 5.5 inch m3 note.
Meizu Pro 6 will use 5.2 inch 1080p screen, Helio X25 processor, new mTouch 3.1 fingerprint scanner, 3500mAh battery, HIFI 3.0 sound, NFC and memory options from 32GB to 128GB,
Maybe, the 10 LEDs won't light up all together in all situations.. Maybe all 10 would light up only in very dark situations.. The lazer autofocus (distance) and the lens (darkness) might assist in that situation and lit up only as much light is required.. But then again, thats my personal thoughts..
Do reply to me and lemme know if I am right or wrong..
I always said this is how flash should be implimented. The problem with flash was always that its not distributed evenly enough.
Waz, 09 Apr 2016You mean Xenon flash as in they died out and then cost a fair bit to replace? I should know I ... moreMy 5+ year-old N8 still has a working xenon flash. It's probably going to die soon but still. Phone companies should just include them and the more that do the lower the price will get.
